To say that Jason was completely and utterly confused in his classes was an understatement. The school he had gone to in Michigan wasn't the best so they were way farther behind than Beacon Hills High. Jason spent most of the morning and early afternoon getting old notes and desperately trying to decipher some notes Scott, Stiles, and Lydia had offered.

Thankfully, he didn't seem to be the only one that was behind. One girl, Malia seemed just as lost as Jason, lucky for her she was friends with Lydia and The rest and got notes to help her study.

Jason took a deep breath as he walked into the lunch room, this was always the worst part of the first day or being the new kid, trying to find somewhere to sit. Jason brought his lunch so he didn't have to worry about eating school food, he did have to worry about where he could sit.

Jason was looking around the room when he heard someone calling his name. Jason looked in the direction he heard the voice and saw Stiles waving enthusiastically at him. Jason felt himself blush slightly and made his way over to the table.

"Hey dude, saved you a seat." Stiles said, motioning to a seat between him and Lydia.

Jason smiled and sat down, pulling out his lunch.

"So, Jason, where did you move from?" Scott asked.

"Michigan." He answered a little quietly, but Scott seemed to hear his answer just find.

"That's cool." Scott said. "How's your first day so far?" He then asked.

Jason thought carefully before answering, "A l-little crazy, b-but not b-bad." He answered, stuttering slightly and hating himself for it. Jason expected someone to say something but no one did, not even Stiles who seemed to not have very good control over the things that came out of his mouth.

"Do you play any sports Jason?" Kira asked.

Jason shook his head, "N-not really, b-but I'd like to t-try L-Lacrosse." He answered, being honest. "A-and you guys can c-call me J-Jay by the way."

"Cool, Jay." Scott said with a smile. "I think I can help you with the Lacrosse thing, I happen to be the team captain." He said.

"T-thanks Scott." Jason said, giving a shy smile.

"No problem, just come to the locker room after school and we can talk to coach about letting you try out late since you just moved here, he shouldn't be too mad, especially if you're good." Scott said with a grin.

Jason nodded and smiled back. This place was nice and so were the people, Jason just hoped he would be able to keep his secret.
