Quick, Dinner?

We got through the day and i felt victorious as i got out of my last class for the day. I soon heard running steps behind me so i looked back to see Skyler.
Of course!

'Sup'  i said as i tried not to collide with sweaty horny teenage bodies.
  
'No time to sup, come to dinner tonight' She said it more like a statement as she was panting.

My eyes widened as i stopped to ask
'Are your parents gonna be there?'

'Yeah but don't worrry about them'

'Do they know you aren't straight?'

'Not yet, I'm having a hard time coming out'

'So what the heck am i gonna be there for?' I asked the obvious question.

I was really confused as to why she seemed so serious about it.

'To eat with my family, as a friend. My dad isn't going to be there anyways'

The only thing that hit me was the word 'friend'.
Well i guess you found your way to friend jail then. Stupid Demmy, as always was mocking me.

A certain look on Skyler's face made me grow suspicious of her intentions tonight.

'Bly!' She jolted me back as she noticed i was carried away again.
'Yeah'
'Why are you always out of focus whenever I'm talking to you?'

'Nothing really, i just don't trust you are up to any good this night' i said, narrowing my eyes at her.

She sighed, 'Just come would you?'
She expectantly looked up to me like a kid hoping for some candy.

'How could i say no to that cute wittle puppy face' I spoke to her in my doggie voice that annoyed her so much.

'Thank you thank you thank you...!' She squealed looking so cute while jumping and holding my hand. I just smiled at her as my other friend, Remon walked up to us, mostly me because apparently he isn't too fond of Sky. I think we all know why.

'Sup Bly!' His deep voice directed towards me, i fist bummed him saying my hi back and he just then 'noticed' Skyler as he greeted her as well with less enthusiasm.

We all kept walking towards the parking lot as Remon and i joked about something that happened in English.

'So hey Bly, uhm...would you like to watch the new scream movie later today?....uhh My mom's out of town and i got popcorn' He said as he fiddled with the end of his sleeve.

I knew Remon was nervous but tried to play it cool as he was probably trying to ask me on a date. We both love the Scream series and usually watched it together so i didn't get why he was particularly weird today.

Or maybe i did, i just didn't want to jump into conclusions.

Before i could say anything, someone jumped in.

'How many times does she have to tell you that she's gay goddam Remon, take a hint and stop trying to get her on dates and by the way, she's coming to mine for Dinner so beat it!'

Skyler said with so much venom in her voice,  i wondered where it was coming from.

I mean, it's quite unnerving to see Remon trying to ask me out after i told him repeatedly that i am into girls and strictly girls and he wasn't exactly unaware that i dated Sky in the past.

The past, my damn demon repeated after me.

Despite Sky and Rem not being the closest of friends, i haven't heard her talk to him that way. Even when he used to get on her nerves indirectly, she'd just shrug it off and ignore it but not this time.
