"I love thunderstorms, I find them peaceful" Bill cooed over the phone with Tom and Gustav arguing in German in the background.
"Oh, I hate them. They terrify me. Never know why, they just do. Start crying and everything." She half-laughed over the phone.
"That's not too good, not the best way to spend your night."
"Yeah, but I get through it after around an hour of being a blubbering mess in my bed."
"You're going to be alright, aren't you? Doesn't your family know about your fear and help you get through it?"
"Who am I kidding- They're barely here. They leave me here. I'll get through it though, nothing I haven't done before. My brother is also out with friends, but he would've been no help anyways. I'm sure i'll be okay."
"If you're sure. Hey, the boys are fighting, I have to see what it is. I'll see you later."
"Yeah- wait what?" She questioned just as the phone hung up. She didn't know what to say. 'I'll see you later' what did he mean by that?
She decided to get changed into a pair of pajamas with a black lace bandeau top and plaid trousers. Exactly the same ones as the ones she stole from Bill, just in a smaller size.
Her chest wasn't exactly small, but it was comfortable not to wear a shirt for once. The inside of the bandeau top was a nice cotton fabric and was so comfortable. Comfort for her thunderstorm panic attacks were a must. She was embarrassed about her panic attacks. She felt like everyone was watching her, even if she was in a room alone. The walls would close in on her, her ears would ring and her vision would sometimes go blurry. Although her brain decided that passing out was also an option, apparently.
She was in the kitchen when the rain started, and a knock rapped on her door.
"Who the fuck?" She mumbled to herself.
She opened the door to see none other than Bill.
"Hey." She said in disbelief.
"Hi. I felt bad for you after you said you were alone...so I decided you shouldn't be." He smiled.
She was in shock and just dragged him in and hugged him.
"Thank- Thank you..." She hesitated. Bill rested his head above hers, comforting her while the start of the thunderstorm began to sound outside.
"I just wanted to make sure you were okay." He said quietly while stroking her upper back through her hair.
She sniffled and smiled, then broke apart to close the door just as the thunder started. The first loud bang made her flinch while she locked the door.
"Sorry.." She stuttered while turning back around.
"Just- uh, yeah.." She recollected herself while they both went up to her room. She closed her curtains and sat on her bed, Bill following suit.
"God, I just... The rain itself is pretty from inside but the thunder makes me want to actually kill myself with a spoon." She laughed. The thunder roared and Dani winced. Out of fear, she grabbed onto Bill's arm and he immediately threw his arm around her when she flinched.
"You're okay, hey," He looked down at her and she looked up at him. He nodded "You're okay, I promise."
She wrapped her arms around his thin waist, resting her head on Bill's shoulder.
As the thunder rumbled once more, he placed his hands over her ears to try and stop the crash of the weather outside. She was in for a long night of making herself feel bad for dragging Bill away, although he came over without her knowing.
"You're okay." He whispered to her, though she couldn't hear that well from his hands being over her ears. She nuzzled into the side of him, wishing for it all to be over soon despite it just starting. However, she at the same time never wanted it to end, so she could stay in Bill's arms and have a proper reason to.

"It's over, it's okay." He whispered to her, still in roughly the same position he was an hour ago. The storm had calmed down, and all was left was the small patter of rain against the window. The sun was back out ready for the sunset and the rain was left to a minimum.
Dani was still holding onto him, just not as tight as before. She was more relaxed, and she hadn't shed a tear during the storm thanks to Bill.
"Thank you..." She mumbled into his shirt as she became more and more exhausted by the minute. She pulled away, looking up at him.
"You look really tired, like you're about to faint. Are you okay?" Bill asked in a concerned tone. She nodded sleepily, her eyes heavy while closing to blink.
"Yeah, just the panic takes a lot of energy out of me. It's really draining."
"I'll stay with you. I'll take care of you." He insisted, as Dani drew him back in for a hug.
"Thank you. Sorry if I fall asleep in your arms, though." She laughed quietly, as Bill laid down with her. They were facing eachother and Bill tucked the hair infront of Dani's face behind her ear, which made her smile.
"I really am gonna pass out now." She says, moving closer to him and he hugged her close. The two cuddled for a few moments before Dani spoke up one last time.
"Hey," She got his attention pretty quickly, though she couldn't see it.
"I love you."
Silence echoed through the air as Bill's heart overflowed with anxiety, happiness and every other lovely feeling under the sun.
"I love you too." He whispered, as he fell asleep with her.
