Opposites attract // Bill Kaulitz

Chapter eight

"You ever listen to our music?" Tom asked Dani, who was sitting at the bench he was revising at with Bill.

"No, I'd love to though." She replied, a little upset about her rehearsal being cancelled last minute.

"Here, take this." He said, passing her a black iPod Nano. She turned it on, taking her headphones out and plugging them in.

"Scroll down until you see 'Schrei (So laut du kannst), Listen to a few of them. Keep the iPod as long as you want, as long as I get it back at some point." He explained, and she did as she was told.

"I sound so much younger in that album," Bill complained "I was like 14 when we recorded it"

"Still, that makes it better" Tom laughed, making fun of his brother.

She scrolled to 'Durch Den Monsun' and played it while the two boys argued over one of the answers.

"It's a vacuole." She spoke up, making them both go dead silent.

"A what?" Tom asked

"A vacuole. It maintains the water balance in a plant cell. It's also not found in animal cells, unlike the cell membrane. Both types of cells have membranes." She explained as Bill slowly sat back down after leaning over to him, pointing at the sheet as he argued.

"Also, your voice is so cute in this" She teased, looking at Bill. He blushed pink, and Tom grinned.

She wasn't lying. His voice was like something brought down from the stars, made by the moon itself. It was the most beautiful thing Dani had heard, and she loved him. She loved him a lot, despite them only knowing each other for 2 months.

"Listen to 'Ready, set, go!', it's a new song. It's his voice now." Tom smiled as Bill glared daggers at him.

She scrolled down to the album 'Scream' and played 'Ready, set, go!' as the bell rang once.

"There we go, good luck." Bill wished him luck as Tom packed up, Dani still listening to the song while being half-aware of everything happening around her.

"Listen to them all, keep it until Thursday." Tom said, side-hugging Dani as he walked away. She and Bill stood up, walking over to the pathway.

"I have English next, doing Romeo and Juliet." Bill explained, both of them smiling softly.

"Oh, I love Shakespeare! I forgot we had English today." She explained, looking up at him and clapping her hands softly in excitement.

"I can't understand it at all, I love seeing be acted but I can't read it without being confused about the language" he smiled as she opened the door.

"I can teach you, it's okay. I love annotating extracts of Shakespeare. Pass the time with it" She said while closing the door and brushing through her hair. She put on her clear shimmer lip gloss, doing her usual routine before both of them entered the English classroom.

"Alright everyone, let's start with act one scene five. Who would like to read for Juliet?" She asked, looking around the room. Her eyes fixed on Dani, who was smiling at her notes.

"Dani!" She cooed "How about you read for Juliet?"

Dani smiled and walked to the front, as per usual when people were chosen to read for parts.

"And..." The teacher began, and Dani's eyes made their way to Bill, who was looking confused at his desk while reading through the scene. He's so cute. "Steve! You read for Romeo." The teacher concluded.

Great. The super creepy guy who had dreams about raping half the school. He's gonna be interesting.

The teacher nodded, as to say "Begin reading."
