𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐀𝐍𝐃 had a gig at Micha's Cave every Friday since the first time they performed.
And every single time was the same. Tom making out with a new girl as soon as the show ended. Luz was used to it at this point and just learned not to say anything. Some girls thought Luz just wanted to be famous and steal the guy's fame. She honestly did not care at all whether their fans liked her or not. She was just there to support them.
Luz went up to Bill, "Hey, I think i'm gonna leave early because I have to take care of Monica but i'll see you on Monday at school."
Luz didn't have to take care of Monica. Monica wasn't even home, she was staying with a friend for a sleepover.
She didn't wanna be in that musty hot place where hot bodies danced the entire night and reeked of alcohol.
"Oh ok, but why Monday? I thought we were going to hang out this weekend?" Bill asked.
"I have some stuff to do with family so I can't really hang out, but I'll still see you!" she said trying to hide her nervousness.
She grabbed her things and left. Bill called her a taxi to take her home and the night ended earlier than usual for Luz. __________________________________
𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐄 and Luz dreaded every second of it. End of year state testing was starting today snd today's test was math.
She hated math and could not understand anything whatsoever. Georg tried to help her but it was no use.
Luz arrived at school earlier than she usually got there to go to the park. She loved going on the swings and just playing there. She was a child at heart.
Gustav walked to school and took the route near the park. As he was walking, he saw Luz laughing and swinging all by herself.
"Luz?" he called out.
Luz stopped swinging and peeked to see who was calling her name. When she saw it was Gustav, she was relieved that it was him.
"What are you doing here all alone and why aren't you at school?" he asked, walking up to her.
"I just wanna waste time and have fun before we go into testing." she stated while swinging.
"I was wondering if you wanted to walk with me then while your here?" he asked looking at his feet.
"Yeah sure! Let me just get my stuff." she said before stopping and grabbing her stuff. __________________________________
"𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄 hell is Luz?" asked Tom starting to get annoyed.
"She'll be here! I know it!" Bill said while trying to keep Tom busy before he exploded.
Laughter from behind began getting louder and before the twins knew it, Luz and Gustav arrived.
"Hi!" she greeted them.
"What took you so long?" Tom asked rolling his eyes.
"I went to the park and Gustav saw me so we just decided to walk together here." she said.
Tom felt jealousy running through him. Gustav and Luz were just friends. They weren't even dating, what was so bad?
"Okay this is getting awkward. I'm gonna head inside." Luz said walking away.
"Gustav, what were you doing with Luz?" Tom asked angrily.
"Woah chill out, we were just walking together." Gustav said trying to calm Tom down.
"Why are you so mad Tom? It's not like you two are dating anyways" asked Bill.
"Whatever, I'll be inside." Tom muttered as he walked from the two. __________________________________
