𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐗𝐓 morning, Luz woke up feeling exhausted. She hadn't done anything yesterday so she didn't know why she was tired.
She picked herself up from her bed and went straight to the bathroom.
She did her daily morning stuff and went back to her room. She sat in her thoughts when someone knocked on her front door.
The knocking just got louder and louder before she shouted that she was coming.
Opening the door was a suprise because it was the people she least expected.
"Hi Luz!" Bill greeted her, running inside.
Tom came with him and greeted her as well. She was a bit confused because they never said anything about coming over.
"Why are you guys here?" she asked before yawning.
"Well I thought we'd hang out or something since we haven't hung out, just the three of us, in a long time!" he said smiling.
"Oh uh let me get ready then" she told them before scurrying off.
It felt awkward being with them. They've been so distant lately since they had signed to music record and now were working 24/7 on music. This summer was supposed to be the best but it just felt like it was Luz by herself.
Not to mention that the entire group had been spending more time with Naria and Finn since they met. Luz was happy they had more friends but she was so sick of the same excuses for why they couldn't hang out.
"Sorry, we're going out with Naria and Finn!"
"Luz we can't, we already promised the other twins we'd hang out with them"
"Maybe next time? We're with the twins right now"
It was the same bullshit over and over again. The twins this, the twins that. It was like she was being replaced by these random people who just happened to appear out of nowhere.
She panicked, pacing back and forth in her room, whether she should stay or go with them.
They never made time for her so why should she make time for them? She also didn't want to lose them either because of this simple silly little problem that could've been easily solved.
She just decided to get ready and go because she wasn't going to screw this friendship over some stupid mistake. __________________________________
𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍 the stairs while the twins were on the couch watching the TV.
The twins saw her and got up immediately. Bill squealed when he saw her outfit. It looked like something he would wear himself.
"You look so adorable!" Bill complimented her while hugging her.
She thanked him and began putting on her shoes by the door.
They got into the car and began driving towards whatever they were heading.
Luz felt awkward in the car. There wasn't much to talk about since they had parted ways for 3 weeks. She wanted them to be honest with her so she asked.
"Why do you guys suddenly want to hang out with me?" she asked.
The car went quiet and Bill turned off the loud music. He looked behind him to look at the now worried Luz. He looked back at Tom and they both nodded their heads to each other.
"Okay before we tell you promise us, you won't get mad or upset." he asked her while sticking his pinky out.
She felt uneasy. Like something bad was bound to happen.
"Uh sure whatever" she replied back and tied her pinky around his.
"Well we wanted to hang out with you because we're leaving for the rest of the summer. The record label and our manager said we should go on tour for our new album." Tom stated in a monotone voice.
Her face went numb. Like the world went quiet and she was stuck in time. She couldn't believe the words she was hearing.
"Luz are you alright?" Bill asked her, holding her hand trying to comfort her.
"I'm fine, it just you know suprised me" she mumbled.
"You said you wouldn't get mad" Tom muttered in annoyance.
"I'm not mad" she replied.
"You clearly are." he shot back.
"Well how do you expect me to react? First you start leaving me for some random people now you only decide to spend time with me because your going on tour?" she told him off.
"Luz, you're being a selfish bitch right now you know that?" Tom answered.
"I'm being a selfish bitch? Each time I try to call you guys to hang out it's always the same fucking excuse. Oh sorry! We're with Naria and Finn! I'm sick of it." she shouted in anger.
They hadn't argued this bad since the first comcert night. Bill watched from the side since he was too scared to chime in.
"I feel like i'm losing you guys which is the last thing I need right now." she whispered trying not to let the tears of anger come out.
"Just drop me home" __________________________________
𝐈𝐓 𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍'𝐓 take long for the three to make it to Luz's house. As soon as they made it in front, she left the car and stomped away.
Tom sped off and Luz didn't look back. She walked inside and dropped her stuff.
She walked into her room and threw herself onto the bed. Crying into the pillow immediately. All of her makeup running off and staining her white colored pillow sheets.
The day didn't go the way she wanted it. She told herself she wasn't going to make it a big deal but low and behold everything was fucked up.
She hid in her room for the rest of the day, just watching sappy movies and crying.
Soon the movies got boring and she fell asleep slowly and peacefully. __________________________________
𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐆 at 6am and quickly woke her up. She knew who it was immediately but didn't want to decline it.
"Hello?" she said into the phone.
"Hey Luz, it's Bill and I know your still mad at us but I just wanted to apologize for everything. Uh we're about to leave for the tour and I wanted to let you know before we leave." he responded back to the other line.
A tear fell from her face and she smiled. She knew Bill couldn't hold a grudge against anyone and he always apologized or forgave.
"It's fine, don't worry. I overreacted and just took all my anger out on you guys. I'm sorry I can't be there with you guys but just know i'm always rooting for you guys." she told him.
"Thank you Luz, I got to go but I love you a lot" he said.
"I love you too" she replied back before hanging up.
Now that the entire band was gone, there wasn't much to look foward to. All her plans were consisted of hanging out with the entire friend group.
To think of it, she didn't really like the other twins much. She would never say that to them though.
This summer was going to be a bummer. __________________________________
