It's been 2 years since Luz has seen the band last. All of them had to drop out of school early in order to continue their career.
She's now a famous model and the face for her all time favorite brand Juicy Couture. She's become extremely successful in her career.
She's 19 and lives back in California by herself. Her family stayed in Germany so they could continue to help her younger sister, Monica, grow up there. She still talks to her family and friends back there.
As for the band, they seem to be doing well. It looks like Tom and Bill have changed into different people. Gustav and Georg still look the same, just older.
They performed for VMA awards and also won in 2008. With a lot of hate from the audience though. Luz watched it as she was one of the announcers for awards. It was fun to watch and she felt bad for the hate they got for the performance.
She saw them and they did a bit of chit chat. Nothing special. Though Tom looked happy to see her. They caught up and after that, didn't really talk much.
She's getting ready for her first Victoria Secret runway and decided to call her mom and sister before she had to start getting ready. __________________________________
"Bueno?" Carmen said to the phone.
"Hola mami! How you been?" Luz says back into the phone.
"Oh hi Luz! I didn't know expect you to call."
"Sorry I know it's unexpected. I just thought I'd call you before I had to get ready for my first Victoria runway."
"Chingada madre! I forgot you had it today!"
"It's fine Ma! Don't stress too much!"
"Como que don't stress? This is you're big day mami!"
"I know, I know."
"Listen, I'm sorry I can't make it. I'll ask if there's some way I can see it live so I can see you. If not, I'll still see the photos and videos of you."
"Okay, as long as you still get to see me."
"Of course, now go start getting ready!"
Carmen hung up and Luz started dialing another number onto her phone.
"Hello?"
"Hi Monica!"
"Oh hey Luz!"
"How you been baby?"
"I've been uh somewhat good. Mom and Dad have been arguing a lot lately but other than that I've been fine."
"I'm sorry to hear that baby. Listen, ask mami if you can come back to Cali over the summer. You get out in like 3 weeks right?"
