𝐓𝐎𝐌 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐋𝐔𝐙 snuck out of the venue to try and not get caught together. If the news figured out they were going out together it would for sure ruin everything. They ran to Tom's car and snuck inside.

"Jesus christ, running in heels is so difficult." Luz said while laughing.

"You should've just asked me to carry you, I would've done it." he said, blushing and smiling.

She laughed at the thought of him carrying her.

"Didn't you already try to carry me? You dropped me in the middle of the grocery store." she said, shaking her head.

"Shit you're right." he said, remembering the moment and everything.

"TOM LET ME GO YOU'RE GOING TO DROP ME AND IM GONNA FALL ON THE FLOOR!" Luz shrieked while trying to get out of his arms.

And Luz was right. He dropped her on the floor in the middle of the aisle. In public too.

"Luz, are you okay?" Bill asked pulling her up and hugging her.

"I fell on my back" she said rubbing her back and groaning.

"Luz i'm so so so so so sorry about that, I didn't mean to drop you." Tom comforted her and held her close.

"Let's just go back to shopping. When we get back home, I'm going to sleep." she mumbled under her breath while pushing the cart.

They laughed after recalling the incident. It was an inside joke between the group.

"So how have you guys been? Anything new?" she asked.

"Really good, our tour was popular and we got on talk shows and stuff. Our second album is in the making." he said while sitting comfortably in the car.

"Nice, really nice." she said, looking down at her feet.

She didn't really know how to talk to him. It was like talking to a stranger since they hadn't talked in so long.

"I feel like your getting nervous and awkward around me." he said, looking at her.

"Sort of."

He grabbed her hand and held it for a bit. He wanted her to be comfortable around him.

If you told them they'd be bestfriends to strangers, they wouldn't believe you. Since they had met, everything kinda just clicked.

"I know I already apologized but I'm sorry for everything. Leaving you in the dark and ignoring you. It was selfish of me and you didn't deserve any of it." Tom looked in her eyes as they teared up for the second time in one night.
