*Time skip to Sunday*
Josh's POV:

I was in the uber getting driven to the game that I had booked tickets for. I had come all the way to Queensland the day after my game all by myself just so I could see Mully's game. Eddie still didn't know the true reason for why had come all the way to Queensland, I had just said that there was some sort of family issues. I took my phone out of my pocket and unlocked it.

Josh: Hey Mully!

Mully: Hey Josh, what's up.

Josh: Just letting you know I'll be watching your game and cheering you on 💗

Mully: Aw thanks! I'll make sure I win the game just for you 😉

Josh: I wish I could see you again. I miss you so much 😥

Mully: Me too. Your the only thing I've been able to think about. Sorry Josh, I gotta go.

Josh: Alright, good luck. Love you 🥰

Mully: Love you too 😘

I turned my phone off and put it down on the seat beside me, my face feeling like a wildfire in the summer. I couldn't help but wonder if Mully actually meant what he texted when he said he loved me. I know I defiantly meant it.

The uber arrived outside of the stadium and I paid the driver before slipping out and looking up at the stadium. I started walking towards the entrance, crowds of people at every single nook and cranny of the stadium grounds. I opened my phone and got the QR code up on my phone before walking up and tapping it on the thing to let me in.

"Josh, what are you doing here?" The person standing at the gate asked looking me up and down.

"Just decided to come and watch the game." I replied as I walked through the gate.

"But weren't you in Adelaide?" The person asked and I nodded my head as I slipped my phone back into my pocket.

"Yeah, I just needed a break from the team." I replied before walking away to try to dodge anymore questions about why I was at the game. No one needed to know that I was here to cheer my crush on. I took my seat at the front as I watched the team's training on the oval. I smiled when I spotted Mully talking to Gaege. I took my phone out and took a quick picture before just leaning back and watching them train.

Mully's POV:

We were on the oval training before the big game when I looked over to the stadium and saw someone that looked like Josh. I quickly shook my head knowing that Josh was in Adelaide with the rest of his team. I must miss him so much that I'm imagining his everywhere I go. Gaege walked over to me with a concerned look on his face.

"Hey Mully, are you alright?" Gaege asked resting a hand on my shoulder. I looked up at him and nodded my head.

"I'm fine. Let's just get back to training." I replied and Gaege removed his hand before looking at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Mully, I'm your best friend. You know you can tell me anything, right?" Gaege asked and I nodded my head before looking over at the rest of the team.

"There's nothing wrong." I replied and he sighed before walking over to the team. I took one last quick glance at the stadium seeing that person that looked like Josh was now gone. I sighed before walking over the team and joining them. We continued to train for a while until we had to go into our room to get changed into our jerseys.

Josh's POV:

It was already halfway through the game and Essendon was beating Gold Coast by a massive margin. I had cheered loudly but not loudly enough for Mully to hear my voice and work out that I was there. I just blended in my cheering with the rest of the crowd. I had a lot of people ask me why I was here instead of Adelaide and at this point I had no reasons so I simply just said I was watching a friend so they would leave me alone.

I got up and out of my seat and went back inside to buy some food because I was getting pretty hungry watching the game. I went to the closet food shop thingy and brought a small tray of chips and gravy. I then went to the small clothing store and brought a Essendon beanie and hoodie before going back to my seat. I sat my chips down on the ground on front of me so I could slip on the hoodie before putting on the beanie. I picked my chips back up and began to eat them.

The siren sounded signaling that quarter three was about to begin and I looked at all the players my eyes scanning for Mully until they finally found him. My eyes stayed on him as I admired all his beautiful features and how they were brought out more when he was playing footy. I cheered as he kicked a goal and ran towards a few of his teammates and gave them high fives. The ball was brought back to the center once again and bounced but my eyes never once left Mully.

Mully's POV:
*At the end of the game*

The siren sounded and we all cheered having won the game. I ran over to Gaege and gave him a tight hug as he gently patted me on the back. He then let go of me as I went to congratulate the rest of the team when I heard a familiar voice yell out.

"Mully!" The voice yelled and I looked around the stadium until they landed on the person that had called out my name. Josh. I ran up to where he was sitting.

"Josh, what are you doing here?" I asked as he got out of his seat and walked over to the fence and leaned over it to give me a hug.

"I came to watch you play. Congratulations on winning." He replied as he let go of me and stepped back giving me a good chance to look at him. He had a massive smile on his face, and I noticed that he was wearing an Essendon beanie and hoodie. I felt my face heat up.

"Thanks Josh. I see that you're wearing my team's merch." I commented and he looked down at the hoodie he was wearing. He then looked back at me his face a light shade of red.

"Well, I wanted to show you how much I care about you." He replied rubbing the back of his neck with his hand as his face went a darker shade of red. I smiled at him as I felt my face heat up even more.

"I care about you too. I've been really missing you since last time I saw you." I stated rubbing the back of my neck with my hand. Josh looked at me and smiled.

"I've missed you too. Your all that's been on my mind. It's driving me crazy." Josh replied and I smiled at him, wanting to grab him by the shirt of his collar and kiss him.

"Do you want to go out for dinner?" I asked and Josh looked at me, his eyes shining brighter than the stadium lights.

"Of course. I'll wait for you here. Now go join the rest of your team." Josh replied and I nodded my head. I gave him one last smile before jogging away to join the rest of my team in our room so we could chant our theme song.

Josh's POV:

I sat back down in the chair closest to me. I took my phone out and started scrolling on social media as I waited for Mully to come and get me so we could go out for dinner. I stood back up when I heard Mully call out my name. I looked at him and saw that he was wearing plain black hoodie and sweatpants. I smiled as he stopped in front of me.

"Are you ready to go?" He asked and I nodded my head as I looked at him and smiled. He bent over the fence and wrapped his arms around my waist, gently picking me up and pulling me over the fence. He then carefully placed me on the ground as he took my hand in his.

"Thanks Mully, shall we get going?" I asked as I looked up at him with a massive grin on my face.

"Yes, we cannot let our stomachs wait any longer." He replied and I quietly chuckled as we walked over to Essendon's room and walked through the tunnel. The whole team looked up at me strangely when we walked in the room together.

"Good game tonight boys. I'll see you all again soon." Mully announced before leading me out of the room and into the secret passage that led to the car park. He led me to a black holden commodore and unlocked it. I slid into the passenger seat while he slipped into the driver's seat. I smiled as we drove out of the parking lot and made our way to where we were getting dinner.

A/N: Sorry to end it there but I got to go to bed. Next chapter will be very interesting, so I recommend staying tuned. I don't want to give to much away but here's one word to give you a hint; smut. Anyway, have an amazing day/night.
