Josh's POV:
I searched through the closet looking for my best clothes for the dinner I had with Mully later tonight. It wasn't that important, but I still wanted to look my best. I didn't want Mully to think that I hadn't put any effort into getting ready.
I took a quick shower making sure I was smelling clean and fresh before climbing out and slipping on my clothing that I had picked out. I had decided to wear a plain black t-shirt, black sweatpants and a plain dark green hoodie. I then quickly brushed my hair before putting on my pink supreme beanie. I then walked out of the bathroom and picked up my phone and saw a text from my older brother.
Dickhead: Hey dumbass, congratulations on winning the game.
Josh: Thanks Grant, also I told you to stop calling me that.
Dickhead: Nah, it suits you.
Josh: Oh well, I better go. I have to get ready for a dinner I'm going to.
Dickhead: Ooo, who's it with? Is it a date?
Josh: I wish, it's with the captain of Essendon. We sort of made a bet and he lost.
Dickhead: Have fun, and don't forget to use protection.
Josh: GRANT! Omg, I'm putting my phone away.
I turned my phone off and slipped it in my pocket as I walked into the bathroom to splash some cold water on my face to cool it down. I then walked out of the bathroom and left my room before looking at Eddie who was sitting on the couch.
"Hey Josh, are you all ready for your date?" Eddie asked teasingly and I rolled my eyes as I felt my face heat up.
"It's not a date." I replied and Eddie just stared at me as he crossed his arms over his chest.
"Don't you mean it's not an official date." He stated doing little quotation marks with his fingers. I just rolled my eyes as I sadly sighed.
"Yeah, your right, like normal." I replied and Eddie looked up at me and smiled as he let his arms rest by his side.
"You know you can change that. Maybe give him a kiss before you leave." Eddie suggested and I choked on my own saliva as my face turned a deep shade of red.
"I, uh, better go. I think he'll be here soon." I managed to say before quickly turning around and leaving the room. I quickly walked over to the elevator and pressed the button waiting for a few seconds before the elevator stopped on my floor. I walked on and pressed the button for ground floor and once it hit ground floor, I went outside and waited for Mully.
Mully's POV:
I drove onto the street that the hotel Geelong were staying at was and when I could finally see the entrance, I saw Josh sitting alone on a bench shivering in the freezing cold weather conditions. I quickly parked my car before climbing out and walking over to Josh.
"Hey Josh, are you alright?" I asked and Josh jumped a little as he looked up at me. I wondered why he hadn't noticed me.
"Oh hey. I'm fine, just a little bit chilly but I'll be alright." He replied as he stood up. I looked at him concerned.
"You sure? I can lend you my hoodie if you want." I said and he smiled at me and shrugged his shoulders.
"Really? That would be nice, thanks." He replied looking down at the ground and kicking a small rock. I smiled as I took my hoodie off and handed it to him. He gratefully took it before slipping it on.
"Aren't you cold now?" He asked and I shook my head as the cold air hit my bare arms.
"Nah, I'm immune when it comes to the cold." I lied as I shivered slightly. Josh laughed quietly which made me smile, his laugh was the cutest thing I had ever heard. We then walked over to my car, and I opened the passenger door for him.
