Although Fatima was initially on the trip for leisure, Zac asked her to come and work with the other interns on the presentation because he trusts/needs her expertise... and since she didn't want to be all alone and cooped up in the hotel all week, she didn't object.

Lisa: good morning everyone, I trust that you all read and familiarized yourselves with the email I sent out last night?
Interns: yes we did.
Lisa: perfect! So without wasting any more time I'm gonna go ahead and group y'all into two groups. The first group will consist of Noelle, Josiah and Fatima... and obviously that leaves Jayla, Kiki and Rick as the second group.
Kiki: (happy) uhm Ms Lopez, may I ask what exactly we will be doing?
Lisa: patience Ms Lewis, I'm getting to it.
Kiki: okay, sorry.
Lisa: okay so as you all know we have exactly four days to convince Mr Marino and the shareholders why Taylored Films is the perfect company to partner with for their international expansion campaign. Essentially, each group is tasked with creating a presentation detailing all these reasons and y'all have until Wednesday because on Thursday both groups will then have to present in front of us (Taylored Films staff) and then we're gonna have a vote to decide on the best presentation, and then that winning group will also present on Friday to the Marino Holdings shareholders.
Rick: so is this like a competition?
Lisa: not exactly, more like testing the creativity of our interns all while encouraging team work.
Rick: so there's no incentives or prizes up for grabs for the winning team?
Lisa: nope! But at least you'll go to sleep knowing that you played a part in making the company 5 million dollars richer.
Rick: (chuckles) yeah I guess so...
Lisa: guys please don't be discouraged, everything in life is not about winning - the sooner you realize that, the happier you'll be.
Noelle: I agree. Uhm Ms Lopez, will we still be able to consult with you for guidance if/when we get lost.
Lisa: (smiles) of course! However, please let me be your last resort - rather consult with your fellow interns first because I myself have a lot of work to do so I won't be able to monitor y'all like usual.
Noelle: noted, thank you.
Lisa: are there any more questions before I leave?
Jayla: since we're not in the office where there's access to company documents etc, what resources are we supposed to use.
Lisa: Ms Thomas, you guys have access to the internet and that's the greatest resource that was ever created!
Fatima: I'm sorry but am I the only one wondering how on earth we're gonna convince a tech company to sign with a film company?! I mean they literally have nothing in common!
Lisa: (chuckles) I was waiting for someone to ask that question, I know I can always count on Fatima to ask the smart questions.
Fatima: okay... so may you please answer?
Lisa: to answer your question, your task is to figure that out. Do your research and find the correlation between the two, find a way that can enable both companies to meet in the middle and make this a win-win situation. (checks her watch) alright guys, you have exactly 3 days and 12 hours to go - good luck and may the best team win! *she leaves*
