Siddharth smiled, lying next to her on the bed. He woke up an hour ago and freshened up, but Avni showed no signs of waking up anytime soon.

Avni smiled in her sleep as she moved towards Siddharth and wrapped her arm around him. She put her leg over his, thus sealing his position. He laughed quietly, adjusting to her comfort.

"Good morning," She greeted, waking up with a beautiful smile. She stretched her arms and slowly opened her eyes.

"It's evening," He corrected, pointing to the time difference.

Avni's jaw dropped, and eyes widened in surprise, noticing the ocean from their full-length glass partition. "Where are we?" She enthusiastically asked.

"Private island," He replied, gazing at her twinkling eyes.

"Omg!" Avni gasped in pleasant surprise. She had only read of such locations in books, and being in one excited her to the core.

Avni swiftly brushed her teeth and showered. "Let's take a look around?" She dragged him, rushing out of the house.

The sand was white in color, and the beach was within a few foot distance. There were many palm trees surrounding the house and a tree cradle, much to her delight.

"I love the place," Avni clapped her hands joyfully like a little kid. Siddharth could only smile at her enthusiasm.

"When did you get it?" She questioned, her eyes shining in happiness.

"Just before our marriage. I wanted us to enjoy our honeymoon here," He answered.

"Can we call this our honeymoon?" Avni asked out of the blue, walking by the beach side.

"Perhaps... If you want to," Siddharth shrugged, taking another step while Avni continued munching on her snacks for breakfast.

"Alright! This is our honeymoon, then," Avni declared, smiling enthusiastically. "How long can we stay?" The next question was immediate.

"Hmm... As long as you want to," He replied, turning towards her and pulling her next to him."How about a year?" She raised her brows, challenging him.

"Yes, baby girl," He agreed, staring at the sky and wrapping an arm around her.

"You leave everything to me. Don't you have a number in mind?" Avni pouted in confusion.

"No. Fulfilling your wish is the only thing on my mind." Avni smiled brightly, hearing his plain yet sweet reply.

"I want us to leisurely explore different places in the world. I've been thinking about it recently after watching a Chinese drama. How about a short vacation every few months," She discussed her thoughts, continuing to walk by his side.

"Sure, baby girl. That sounds fun," Siddharth smiled in agreement. This was the first time she expressed her desire without any hesitation. He felt content realizing their relationship has progressed well.

"Do you have any such wishes?" Avni asked, stopping midway. She sat down, admiring the sunset.

"Not really. I am good as long as you're by my side," He shrugged, sitting beside her.

"Did you ever think of what your future wife should be like?" She curiously inquired, shifting into his lap and resting her head over his shoulder.

"Not particularly, but I knew you were the one from the very moment I saw you," He responded, reminiscing the time when he first met her."Really? Tell me more," She urged.
