This Peace

I am proud.
To be part of a world where defeat doesn’t exist.
A part of the world where cultural diversity and ethnicity are part of our identity.

Our heritage, wrapped around the veins in our hearts like gifts to our bodies and souls, we know.

We know how we live in peace,
This peace is so loud and disturbing that we ask ourselves if we truly live in peace or...
Pieces.

Silent chaos!
We are encouraged by our mothers,
To serve the land of our fathers!
Every day, we all turn to the reality of our presumed facilities in all times and seasons.

We tear and wear apart silently.
Politics is a dirty game we soil our names.
Where the most wealthy and experienced are tamed.

Tamed zombies affecting our abilities,
This is what we see
And this is our reality

As positions shift, we realize this democracy is a deceit!
Where everyone struggles for power, for a chair to sit on.
While the masses die and rot in defeat.

This peace,
A fight never won with war.
How the sweat of our past heroes yelled for!
Peace, peace!
When would we truly find ease?

Not to feel the pain, and strength in our grievance we gain.
We emphasize the truth of our lives in peace and unity.
We, although our days are dark,
We speak and spark
In these words of poetry.
