Chapter 3: Meeting the new teams

Kahn's Pov

I was in combat class with the first years and I was watching as the one that smelt like a dragon was fighting some guy with a large mace. I was also having to deal with shor- I mean Ruby looking and I can just tell from the look in her eyes she wants to ask me a whole lot of questions. I turn and look her in the eyes before then put one of my hands on her head to then turn it so she watches the match. I hear her say something about me forcefully turning her head but I just ignore whatever it is she said because I hear my mother announce the end of the match. I let go of her head and her head immediately snaps to look at me with a pout. She begins to talk to me as the class ends. "Why won't you answer my questions?" I simply shrug not really wanting to get into a long conversation at the moment. As I get up to leave she grabs my left wrist and attempts to drag me with but I'm not budging an inch as she starts to say. "I Ruby Rose leader of team RWBY hearby declare that you shall sit with me and my team for lunch.... Yang help! He won't move!" I watch as a blonde with long hair grabs my right wrist as I finally start to get moved by their combined effort.

I look to my mother for help but she just gives me a simple nod and waves for me to go along with them. I let out a sigh and start to walk to the cafeteria with them which gets them to let go of my wrists. When we grt there I see what I assume to be her team with another group of students one of which was the one that lost the match earlier. I manage to get my usual for lunch which is a t bone steak with roasted potatoes and plenty of veggies. I sit down to eat with the two teams which most of them give me the side eye not knowing why I was there. Ruby speaks up by introducing both groups to me. While she does so I start to focus aura on my two pointer fingers and then sharpen said aura to start to cut my steak when I hear Weiss say. "Why did you not grab cutlery?"

I simply look at and show my two fingers with sharpened aura surrounding them. I then proceed to cut the stake with my aura to them. I hear pyrrha say. "He is doing advanced aura control training." I simply nod my head to her a begin to eat my lunch. I listen in on their conversation about Jaune being bullied by some other first year named Cardin.

    It is at this point that I hear Velvet asking someone to let go of her ears. I immediately stand up and walk over to her and see the guy that beat Jaune in class earlier pulling on her ears. I get up to him and then grab him by his ears and lift him in the before carrying him while he struggles, kicks and complains as I throw him out the cafeteria entrance. I watch as his team follows him out.

    Now that I've taken the trash out I go back over to Velvet and kneel down to make sure that she is ok. I start by gently turning her face to look for any cuts or bruises and then follow it up by looking her and the eyes and ask her. "Are you ok? Should I break their bones?" Her face is red while I do all of this and she says. " n no I'm ok and please go breaking people's arms or legs on my behalf.... again. Please?" I look away and don't awnser her before abruptly picking her up and bringing her to the table that the two first year teams are at. Once I've sat her down I go to the lunch lady to get her some food.

3rd pov

    As soon as Kahn left Velvet at the table both teams turn to look at her. Ruby wanting to finally get some of her questions answered immediately starts to ask Velvet questions. "What weapons does he use? Why wasn't he at initiation? Is he really related to professor Goodwitch? Where is his team?" Velvet not having expected to be bombarded by questions right after being saved from Cardin takes a few minutes to respond. "He doesn't use a weapon. He is a third year and he got in early from what I've heard. He is professor Goodwitch's son and he isn't on a team and I don't know why." Before Velvet could be asked more questions Kahn is already back with a new tray of food with carrots, lettuce and tofu. He sits down beside and get back to eating his own food.
