Kahn's pov
Once again, I'm in a situation where I'm having far too much to try and understand within a small amount of time.
Kahn: Well, to answer your question, I'm his descendant.
I watch as his sole silver eye narrows before he moves far faster than I could have expected him to because of his injuries. He pokes my head with one of his claws on his front hands? Feet? I don't know what to call them, but what I do know is that I'm now seeing my entire life from the very start to now, I see memories that I have completely forgotten as well.
When he takes his claw away from me, I feel dizzy and light-headed. I dig my claws into the floor beneath me to keep me from falling down. I feel like my magic was also drained when he did that. I look at him, and I'm completely unable to read his expression since he is quite literally in the form of a dragon. Though this makes me wonder if I can do that as well. He stands up despite the protests the beast mages around him make. As he moves forwards there is a bright silver flash of light that blinds me. As I start to see again, I see a man in simple clothes with silver trimming on it. He has short silver hair and a singular silver eye. He looks to be two feet shorter than me.
Silverscale: Sorry about that, Kahn. But I felt that it would be much faster if I read your memories to understand what you meant.
He begins to cry silver tears from his singular eye.
Silverscale: My brothers are dead.... The dragon wars have long since ended. The world has long since changed from what we know. Not only that, but you are the sole living descendant of my younger brother Copperscale.... you were never even taught what you needed to know about your heritage.
Before I can do or say anything, he hugs me. He breaks the hug and steps back.
Silverscale: Time is of the essence. We need to end this war we have been trapped in right now, or else what happened to us will happen to you. We have been at war against the grimm lord Salem created for at least eighty years, but as it turned out, time had been going by outside of here far more quickly. Lupis, gather our entire army. Come back to me once you have. Kahn, I am going to need your help the most for this. The grimm lord is too strong for me to beat alone. He is immune to my purifying fire and silver eye. I can see it in your eyes. You want to know who Salem is. When we break the dome she created to keep us trapped here, I will give you the explanation you deserve. So I ask you this, will you lend me your strength?
I really wasn't ready at all for today. But I know he is telling the truth.
Kahn: I will, but I'm going to have to focus to regain my magic and aura.
Silverscale: Of course. It will take a few hours for Lupis to gather all of my soldiers capable of fighting. So let's fill that time with some conversation.
Kahn: Well, if we have the time now to talk about it, who is Salem?
Silverscale: I should have expected that. We don't have enough time for me to explain who Salem is because that whole subject is best discussed over the time of an entire day or more so that you won't be overwhelmed by everything involved with her.
Kahn: Fine. Then how about explaining to me how to turn into a literal dragon like you were not too long ago.
Silverscale: Now this we have time to discuss. From what I saw in your memories, you were born from a human mother rather than hatched from an egg because you didn't hatch from an egg you were born in a sort of in-between state. Honestly, from what I know about this sort of thing, you should have been born looking completely human except for your eyes, however instead you were born looking human but with a multitude of draconic traits.
Kahn: Ok, I'm following along, but so far, this doesn't explain how I can transform into a dragon.
Silverscale: I'm getting to that, don't worry. You see how I look right now, right? I look like a normal human except for my singular silver eye. This is the form we take when we wish to be able to walk amongst the humans and faunus unnoticed. The thing is only at a certain age or under very special circumstances can we be able to do this. Thus, you are an enigma. By all circumstances, give the in-between state of human and dragon you are in. You should either be able to do it instinctualy or you are not able to do it all. Now, onto what you wanted. It is easier to use my magic to make you understand how to do it rather than explain it.
He reaches up and places his band on my head. I feel the information enter my mind. As he pulls his hand away, he nods to me. I look at my right hand and imagine it becoming more dragon like. It works. My entire right hand is covered in scales with claws on my fingers. I then think the reverse and watch as the scales and claws just fade away as if they were never there to begin with. My hand looks normal again.
Kahn: Ok, next question. Is that memory reading your magic?
Silverscale: Yes, every scale type has a unique magic to them. My silver eye and purifying fire breath are just natural abilities to me. Although my parents and siblings thought that it was my magic. My magic deals with memories. I see an entire person's life in less than a second. I can also alter, plant, or remove them as well. I kept this hidden from my entire family. It is a very dangerous magic that, if it is misused, could cause catastrophic disasters.
Kahn: That makes sense. Ok, third question. Did you ever have kids?
He blinks a few times before letting out a quiet chuckle. He shakes his head before speaking up again.
Silverscale: Just like my younger brother. Blunt and to the point. I never knew how much I missed how blunt he was about things until Salem used her magic to trap me here. Even more so now that I no he is gone... ah, sorry about that. I started to ramble. I tried to, but I really did. But I found out that I am unable to. So, instead, I created the draconic transference. And before you ask no, I don't know how to make it so a person can become a full dragon. I created draconic transference so that I may pass a little bit of myself onto others in a way to fill the void of not being able to be a father. Any other questions?
Kahn: I can only really think of one more. Who are the two immortals that wander Remnant? From how it sounds, it seems like Salem is one of them.
He let's out a long sigh before pinching the bridge of his nose. He takes a moment to collect himself.
Silverscale: And I am now reminded how much his bluntness got on my nerves. Yes, Salem is one of them. The other I saw that you have already met from your memories.
I met one of them? When? This piques my interest.
Silverscale: His name is or was Ozma. But you would better know him as Ozpin.
Kahn:..... OH MOTHER FUCKER!
I activate my aura and slam my face into a nearby wall. I hear the stones break from the impact. I pull my face out of crater in the wall I made.
Kahn: That explains so much! It explains why Qrow couldn't talk about Salem and told a half truth! That clever fucking bastard! Wait.... my mother is his assistant with means she would know as well, the general probably knows as well. Next time I see either Ozma, Qrow, or the general, I'm going to get them to answer my questions.
Silverscale: What about your mother?
Kahn: You read my memories. You know that I don't want to upset her. She raised me all by herself. Besides, the only reason she wouldn't tell me is if Ozpi- I mean Ozma told her to.
Silverscale: Don't be to angry with Ozma. He was dealt a bad hand he never deserved.
Kahn: What do you mean by that?
Silverscale: That conversation involves Salem, so it will have to wait until after we are free from here. I think that is enough talk for now. You should focus and regain your strength.
I nod a find a good spot to sit down. I then start to meditate.
