I watched as Hermione walked away from Jaime, leaving him perplexed. I looked over at him. This was the first time I'd seen him since the party- since I'd punched him. He had bruises on his face and his lip was slightly swollen "What are you looking at?" He retorted, slightly muffled. I ignored him and followed Hermione and the others.

We walked through the carnival, making our way towards the gate that led to Fox Forest. As we went past the rides, I couldn't help feeling how I wanted to be the people on them, living on an ordinary life. Happy. We walked past screaming kids and scary rides that soared high into the air. I turned my attention to Hermione who was walking beside me with her head down. Things had been awkward between us recently, since the breakup, since the party. However I didn't want things to be awkward, I wanted them to be fine. Maybe more then fine. I still liked her after all, I'd hated breaking up with her. That's what I had been going to tell her before Alice and FP appeared "Hey, are you okay?" I asked her. She swallowed "Yeah, I'm okay" I could tell she was lying. Her face was pale and she looked terrified. I guess we were all terrified. I looked up as I noticed a familiar looking girl run up to Alice. She wore a Serpent jacket and had her hair tied back into a bouncy ponytail. She looked upset "Alice what are you doing here? I thought you agreed not to come after what happened with Marie? Plus the whole Uktana thing, you know Marie was passionate about that?!" Alice's face flushed red "Look, I'm sorry Tessa but I just have something I have to do okay? But I promise after this I'll leave" Tessa folded her arms "Okay but don't leave, join the protest!" She said, gesturing over to a few Serpents with signs. Alice nodded "Okay....yeah, bye Tessa!" We ran past her leaving her slightly confused.

It wasn't that long of a walk across the field of Picken's Park, we were there in a few minutes and we advanced towards the kissing gate "It must almost be 7pm by now" Hermione muttered as FP started walking through the kissing gate. He checked his watch "It's five past" Silence. I guess we were all to scared to speak "What if he's waiting for us?" Hermione whispered "I'm sure he's not" I said quickly "He wants us to complete dares first, right?" I wasn't so sure myself. I shifted my gaze to FP who had reached the other side of the gate now. He scuffed his shoes into the dirt and kicked it about playfully. I felt so bad for him. He'd found his best friend dead. I couldn't imagine what that had done to him. He looked extremely pale and hadn't talked much recently, like he had no words left. Maybe he was saving all of his energy for The Angel Of Death.  Good on him. Alice went through the gate next, meeting FP on the other side. I exchanged glances with Hermione who looked away and proceeded through the gate. She joined FP and Alice on the other side and waited for me. I walked through the kissing gate and closed it shut. I turned to FP "So, where do we go now?" "The bunker is north that way" He said, pointing, his face still expressionless "About a 7 minute treck I reckon" I nodded "Okay, you lead the way" We all waited until FP had finished kicking the dirt about and then gathered behind him. The four of us began making our way towards the other end of Fox Forest. It was like follow the leader; FP was leading the group, still silent; Alice was a few steps behind him, her Serpent jacket hanging slightly off her shoulder: Hermione was in front of me, her hand tightly gripping her left arm protectively: and then finally me at the back, keeping an eye on everyone as though at any moment they could be snatched by The Angel Of Death. I shivered at the very thought. I looked ahead and focused on walking towards the bunker, hoping, praying that The Angel Of Death wouldn't be waiting for us. If so, we'd be walking right into his trap.

After walking for some time we eventually reached the area where the bunker was. There was a few trees layed with green leaves. Hiding nearby was a secret bunker, surrounded by leaves and dirt. I gazed up at the tall tree that towered above it. I shivered, that must have been where Janet was murdered. I think we were all thinking the same thing because we were all staring up at the tree, spooked expressions on our faces. FP was the one who stopped first "I'll go in first" He said "To check it's clear" Alice looked like she was about to protest but she didn't say anything. I think it was because FP was the only one who was willing to. He lifted up the hatch of the bunker and gripped onto the ladder. He reached into pocket and pulled out the knife, its sharp blade looking silver and shiny. He looked up at us "See you on the other side" Alice looked at him, concerned "Be careful!" Her voice quivering. Within seconds he had disappeared down the ladder. We all raced towards the top of the hatch and peered over it. Alice in the middle, me on her right, Hermione on her left. We waited a few seconds "FP!" Alice called down "Is it clear?" Nothing. Not even a stir "FP!" Alice called again "Tell me if it's clear or not!" No answer. Hermione and I exchanged looks. Alice was panicking now, close to tears "FP!" She yelled again, hysterically "FP!" She screamed this time, her voice piercing. Then, suddenly, there was movement from inside the bunker. A dark shadow appeared, making it's way over to us. Alice shifted and opened her mouth "F-" Before she could finish saying FP's name, I'd clasped a hand over her mouth and pulled her back, away from the hatch. We lay there, Hermione next time us, staring at the hatch, waiting for the dark figure to emerge...A clank, another clank, a hand. A hand had appeared on the entrance of the hatch. Alice's eyes grew wide. Where we just about to come face to face with The Angel Of Death? Our breathing got heavier as the other hand appeared on top of the entrance. Expecting the worse, we stood up, getting ready to either run away, or fight. Of course FP, the one with the weapon would be the one to have disappeared down the hatch. Then suddenly a face popped up from the hatch entrance. It was FP, looking confused. We all breathed a sigh of relief "que carajo!" Hermione cried "Jesus" I said. FP stared back at us blankly "What are you guys doing?" "Holy shit FP!" Alice cried, running towards him "I thought something had happened to you!" FP blinked "No, I was just checking out the hatch, it's all clear, no murderers or anyone.....but there is something for us" He told us, gesturing us down the hatch. He climbed back down the ladder adventurously. I turned to Hermione who looked like she'd just seen a ghost. I placed a hand on her shoulder "You okay?" She nodded, her breathing still rapid "Yeah" she said, holding her forehead "I'm good" She followed Alice and FP and crouched down over the hatch entrance where Alice was climbing down the ladder, swearing by the minute. Hermione hurled herself over the entrance, standing on the top of the ladder. I know now wasn't exactly the right time, but I couldn't help but check her out. Focus Fred, focus. I watched as Hermione mounted down the ladder. When she got to the bottom she looked up at me "Come on" she said. I did as she said and within a few seconds I had ascended down the ladder. I jumped off the bottom of it and stared at my surroundings. I soon realised I was stood in a short tunnel that led inside the hatch. I made my way through the tunnel and stepped into the bunker. FP and Alice were gathered around a rather large table that sat in the center of the room, chairs on each side. They were all staring at something curiously. I looked around the room, it was pretty much empty apart from the table and a small bench that was situated on the left hand side of the bunker. After all the room was only small. I walked up to the bench and noticed small pictures stuck to the walls. I soon realised they were all pictures of Riverdale. Some were of general locations like Pop's, the town hall, the Sheriff's Station, Riverdale general. However there was a few of the same location. Sweetwater River. The place where The Angel Of Death had set us up for murder "Pretty strange right" Alice said. I nodded "So is this like The Angel Of Death's lair?" "It seems like it" replied FP. I looked over at more of the pictures. There was 4 photos separate from the others, each with a strip of red pen glazed across it. One of them was of a circus tent, the other of a carousel, another one of a different, more large circus tent and the last was of what appeared to be the hall of mirrors "There all photos of different attractions at the carnival" I whispered "Fred, over here" Hermione called, who was now stood next to Alice. I took one last glance at the creepy photos and met the others who were gathered around the large table. I neared FP and looked down at the table. Spread out across the table was a vast, wooden board that read 'The Dare Game' on it in huge red letters. A dice was situated on the card that read 'Dare' Two sets of cards were stacked up in plastic holders. One set was yellow and it read 'Truth' the other was red and read 'Dare' Taped to the right side of the board was another note. FP ripped the note of the board and read it out loud:
