SEVEN

Season One Episode Five

The Support Group lingered around in the gym. Wally was more hyper than usual as it was homecoming day.

Laura hated homecoming. It reminded her of the day of Wally's tragic death.

Every year Wally would watch the homecoming game to support his family, and more so to get to see his mom once every year.

Laura would tag along to watch the game even though it was hard for her. She did it because she loved Wally and she knew how happy it made him.

"thirty eight...thirty nine..." Wally grunted. His push-ups were something he enjoyed doing as he told Laura "it kept him buff." She just rolled her eyes and laughed.

"Can I get off now?" Rhonda questioned as she was very much over having to sit on Wally while he did his push-ups.

Wally quickly responded, "No, one more time" followed with him getting to the number forty.

Once the dead boy reached forty Rhonda practically jumped off him. He was way to hyper for her today.

"Alright, who's next? Charlie, you wanna ride the pony?" Wally exclaimed with a wink, looking for someone else to sit on him whilst he did his push-ups.

"Oh, okay. So that would that be a micro aggression? Or is it just full on macro? Also why can't Laura just ride you i mean she definitely has enough experience for it." Charley let out with a small smirk at the end.

Mr. Martin butted in, "I don't know what those things mean." Referring to the use of 'big words' Charley spoke with.

"Laura rides me so often that i'm used to her weight. Plus, it's countdown baby. We got ten hours until the homecoming game. We gotta pump it up. Let's go!" Wally eagerly exclaimed, the smile never leaving his face.

Laura sat back and giggled. She loved seeing her boyfriend like this. It was hard to stay positive after being dead for so long but Wally never failed to be the light at the end of the tunnel.

Wally laid himself with his back to the stage floor in a dramatic pose.

"Oh we are pumped Wally. This is what pumped looks like for some of us." Mr. Martin let out as he looked around the room at everyone.

Rhonda spoke with a hard voice, "Anymore pumped and i'll throw up in my hat."

Wally sat up scooting closer to Laura. He put both legs between her body, as she was still standing in front of the stage, and wrapped his arms around her shoulders giving her a big bear hug as he kissed the side of her face.

Laura just laughed, it tickled as Wally's face touched her own. She got butterflies like she always does when Wally touches her.

Mr. Martin gave Rhonda a look making her snap out of her bad mood, "Or not. More pumping." She said with a large fake smile painted on her face.

Laura and Wally just looked at her weirdly before Mr. Martin spoke, changing the subject, "Alright. has everyone signed up for a prep committee? We still need more help with decorations and refreshments. Where's Maddie?" his eyes wandered around the entirety of the gym trying to find her but he couldn't.
