Chapter7:What's your center?

There was grayness all over. Envy tried to run,but no matter how far she ran there was no end of it. She began to panic.It seemed so real,but how? Envy tried to to yell "Help!",but nothing came out out of her mouth. She looked down at her self.She was gray all over;even her hair. Suddenly, she saw a blur of something, like a town. She ran closer to it & discovered that it was Burgess. Envy walked on through the street. She was the only one there as it seemed. She tried to talk again,but failed again. Suddenly, the ground below her broke & she fell down. She landed on a very slim rock. The rock was ready to give in as a golden rope fell next to her. Without thinking she grabbed a hold of the rope. She was being pulled up, but befoer she made it up smoke was come out from between her hands & the rope. She quickly let go & as she fell down, she looked at her hands. They had turned pitch black with flames. The rope burnt her! 

"Envy!" "Envy!" "ENVY!!!" a voice yelled. She awoke with the guardians all around her grasping for breath. "Wha...what happen?" Envy asked as she sat up."You were screaming as if someone was murdering you,mate!" Bunny said."Are you all right?" Tooth questioned her."Yeah,I guess so." Envy suddenly looked at her hands. They were normal as ever. "Well, lets hope so,mate.We don't need you to scream like that again!" Bunny replied.North looked at Envy with his hands rubbing through his beard.North walked over to Envy & took off her chains."Envy," he said."Walk with me." With a confused look, Envy followed North.

North lead Envy into an elevator that looked like a christmas tree ornament.Once the door opened, they walked through the factory.Envy couldn't believe what her eyes saw. All of the yetis,elves,& toys amazed her."Wow." she whispered.North lead Envy into his workshop.Envy walked in first & North shut the door. He walked around Envy. He turned around & looked at Envy in the eyes. North began to get closer & closer to Envy make her bake up each step untill she was against the door which was locked.North looked directly into Envy's eyes as he told her,"I will ask you exactly what I asked Jack." Envy swallowed.

"Who are you,Envy Black?" North asked."What is your center?" He pointed to Envy's chest.Envy looked at were his finger was."My center?" she asked."North gave a small smile. "That's exactly what Jack asked." Envy just stood there.North grabbed a set of Russian nesting dolls. "You might think of me very big,intimidating,no?But if you get to know me a little," North handed Envy the doll."Well,go on." Envy opened the first doll.The next doll was a cheery Santa Clause with red cheeks."Your so...jolly.""Ah,but not just jolly," he opened the next one.The dolls just keep getting smaller than the other."I'm also mysterious,fearless,& caring.And my center," he opened the last one. It was a small wooden baby."I have eyes full of wonder.This is what I was born with.I've always seen wonder in everything."

Envy looked down at the small baby doll."This is what makes me a guardian.So,Envy,what is your center?" Envy shrugged."I don't know.And aways,why are you asking me this if I'm not a guardian?" North looked deep into Envy's eyes."Because,Envy,"He began,"the Man in the Moon told me to tell you something." Envy became curious & asked,"What? What do I not know about?" "The Man in the Moon said that," North came into a whisper."You are the new guardian." Envy was in shock."Me? A new guardian?" Envy was overflowed with excitement."Wow." she whispered. "Now,"North said. "We must tell the others. 

The others were talking with each other, but became silent as North & Envy came back."Well,what did he say?" Jack asked her with a curious expression. North put a hand on Envy's shoulder & announced,"Guardians,I have wonderful news." The guardians listened." I have spoke to the Man on the Moon & he has called apon a new guardian."The guardians were jaw dropped."We just got Jack Frosy like a month ago & now there is a new one already?" Bunny gasped."Who is it North?" Tooth asked with exitement."Envy Black is our new guardian!" The guardians were starstruck."Envy?!Your a guardian?!" Jack asked."Yes!"Envy chirped. She began to blush. The guardians felt a sudden spring of happyness.

In order for her to do so, she had to change out of black cloths.They guardians waited for Envy. A few moments later,Envy came out with a blue out-door thin dress longer in the front & back & had blue & white stripped leggings.The guardians were starstruck,again."Wow." was all that Jack could say.She's so...beautiful. Jack thought. "Envy smiled & looked at the ground."Now,"North broke the silence."Time to find that Pain in the butt!"
