Ivy Black(Rise of the guardians ON HOLD)

Chapter4:She had a past life

Ivy continued to run. She saw Athena standing in front of a creepy-looking house that was small & not modern. "Thea! Thea!" she called out. 

"Ivy!" Athena called back. "What are you doing?" 

"Running for my life!" Ivy replied fearful as they could hear barking. "Nightmare wolves. Run!" She grabbed Athena's arm & pulled her towards the house. Ivy looked up at the house & her eyes widen. She pulled Athena into the house & they shut the door quickly. They pushed themselves against the door, trying to keep the nightmare from getting in. 

Once the barking & scratching wearied away, Ivy & Athena opened the door a crack to see jack standing in front of the door. "Jack!" they both cheered. Jack gave them a confused smile. 

"Hey, uh, where am I?" Jack questioned as he looked into the house. 

"I have a vague idea." Ivy said sadly. "But I think the whole thing we're in is a dream." 

"I don't dream." Athena said quickly. "Well, only once, but that was it." 

"And I don't sleep." Jack added in, giving Athena a sideways glance. "I mean, it's nice to close my eyes once in awhile, but I've never actually slept." 

Athena & Jack turned to Ivy. "We must be in your dream then." Athena pointed out. "Or do you not have dreams like me?" 

"No, I think your right." Ivy looked at the old & dark house. "This is my dream & I somehow brought you two with." 

"Can you control anything?" Jack asked. "Like, make the house have lights at least?" 

The was silence until Ivy answered. "That would be a negative. So, who wants to explore some creepy, old house that I sort of remember?" Jack & Athena just shrugged. "Why not?" jack said. "Seeming that we can't actually go anywhere else." 

"Lets head up stairs first." Ivy insisted as she stepped on the first stair. it made a loud, echoing, creaking sound. "Um, light?" She looked at Jack. 

"Oh, yeah!" He smiled & his staff glowed neon blue. "Onward!" He gave an even bigger smile & climbed up the stairs with Athena & Ivy behind him. While they walked the house was making sounds like it was in pain. They could smell something in the air, like fire. Ivy even thought she could hear the wind making screaming sounds of a young lady. 

"Down at the end of the hall." ivy whispered to Jack as she followed him. "Go there first ." They started heading down the hall. "I feel like I've been here before." Ivy suddenly stopped. Her eyes went blank as words suddenly dashed to her head.... 

"Jack!" Ivy called out, but no answer. "Thea!" No answer.

"Come on, Ivy, you know who you really are. You just don't remember." A voice said. 

"Who are you?" Ivy asked. "And where are you?" 

"You had a life before this, a life."the voice continued. 

Ivy couldn't see a thing & couldn't even move. Then she saw red eyes, fully red eyes. 

"You were Blondie with green eyes & peachy skin. A very smart young lady." 

"Who are you!" Ivy yelled. The figure was suddenly visible with fully red eyes & every time he talked, you could see deep red in his mouth & sharp black teeth. 

"I am the killer of thousands, no, millions. Every person's fear." 

He walked up to her as he spoke.
