Romi looked overdressed standing next to me.. or maybe i was underdressed.
Idk but it didn't make me wanna change either way.
I was comfortable. It was hot af outside. I threw my hair up in a messy bun and touched up my make up which was literally just mascara and sunscreen..
I had to be at work by 7. So I needed to leave by 6. We got there alittle after 4. I wasnt surprised it was mostly his family. But I was surprised to learn it was a pool party.
See he also forgot to mention that part to romi. And in a panic she made me go to the nearest Walmart so she could buy a bathing suit off the clearance rack.
I didn't buy one cus I just plan on being a party pooper.. Im gonna sit in the corner drinking beer and judge him for throwing himself a pool party lmao. I'm kidding... sorta.
So we get to the party..
Romi is a social butterfly. She was going around talking to everyone.. cleaning up messes.. handing out beers to the guys so they didn't have to get up from their seat. They had a huge flat screen in the backyard.. music going. Carne asada on the grill.. the aunts brought all the sides and the uncles brought cases of beer.. like an insane amount.. I thought no way are they gonna go through all those but they were going through them like it was water. And nobody was even drunk yet. I was impressed.
One of the aunts served me a big plate of food. They also made me a drink.. I picked a corner and had a seat. I was joined by some cousins, a friend or two and an uncle.
They asked me what I did for a living.. so I'm telling them all about my job at the hospital.. then the cousin I like to flirt with sometimes joins us and asks when I'm gonna tell him what club I work at so he can come see me lmao.
"Wait you work at a club too?"
"Yeah i work at a strip club part time too."
I'm not ashamed to admit it to these people.. but it's my little secret among my friends lmao. They can't know about that yet. Except for Richie.
That sparked an interest in all of them lol.
"So you dance?" The uncle looked like he was ready to pull out his wallet.
"No.. no I was told I didn't have the body for it."
"Who the fuck said that."

Nah his wife was beautiful.. she was the one that made me that drink. I'll admit that I liked humbertos family.. you could tell they were close.
The uncles were funny. They were arguing about which one of their sons would be a better match for me. They kept coming up to me randomly and showing me pictures of their grown ass sons..
"You think he's cute. I'll give you his number." None of them were cute.. and they were all short lol. Sorry I like my men tall.
They only had boys in their family. None of them had daughters.. just daughter in laws.. but they weren't at the party. The sons that were already married had nothing but boys too. I was fascinated by their story. They each had their own theory as to why there hasn't been a girl born in their family for idk how many generations. One of the uncles had 7 boys.. another had 5 boys. Crazy.
