Denise sat in her room, surrounded by the silence that only seemed to amplify her pain.

Her parents had been arguing again, and she couldn't take it anymore.

She just wanted everything to be okay.

But as she sat there, tears streaming down her face, she heard the sound of footsteps coming down the hall.

Her heart sank as she realized who it was.

Her dad stormed into the room without knocking, his face twisted with anger. "What's wrong with you?" he spat, his breath smelling of alcohol. "Why can't you just be normal and stop crying all the time?"

Denise tried to speak, but she couldn't find the words.

She just shook her head, hoping he would leave her alone.

But he didn't. Instead, he advanced toward her, his hands reaching out to grab her arms.

Denise tried to pull away, but he was too strong.

"Stop it!" she cried out. "Please, just leave me alone!"

But her dad didn't listen.

He continued to hold her down, his grip tightening until she thought she might pass out.

She could feel his grip tightening on her skin, and she knew that he wasn't going to stop.

"Stop it!" she screamed, her voice shaking with fear. "You're hurting me!"

But her dad didn't listen. He continued to shake her violently, his eyes filled with rage.

Denise could feel her heart pounding in her chest

As her dad continued to shake her violently, Denise's mind raced with fear and desperation.

She felt like she was about to pass out from the force of his grip.

But no one came to her rescue.

There was no one to help her as she struggled against her dad's anger.

Denise's heart raced as her dad's hands closed around her arms.

She tried to pull away, but his grip was too strong.

She could smell the alcohol on his breath again, and it made her feel sick to her stomach.

"Why are you always like this?" he demanded, shaking her roughly. "Why can't you just be normal?"

Tears welled up in Denise's eyes, but she refused to let them fall.

She had cried enough in front of him already. "I don't know," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

Finally, he let go of her with a shove, sending her crashing to the ground.

Denise's father was still not done with her, he started kicking and yelling at her.

Denise lay there, gasping for breath, as her dad stormed out of the room.

Denise felt trapped, helpless, and alone.

She didn't know what to do or where to turn.

But then her vision went black and she passed out..
