15 Blaming the universe

Drinks were served to Noah and Rykarl by Elyna. The stormy evening deepened Rykarl's thought while sipping the hot lemon tea made by Elyna, unlike Noah shoving the pandan sponge cake into his mouth.
Elyna gave signals to Marwan with her eyes, informing that she would leave them alone. Marwan nod with a smile on his face.

Rykarl put the teacup on its saucer. His delicate hand with a new ring on his finger scooped the pandan cake into his mouth as a manner to the house host. He washes his mouth by sipping on the sour and sweet lemon tea, very calming indeed.

Rykarl: Wan, haritu aku saja ajak Mika jalan-jalan. Aku niat nak belikan dia new lamborghini ke Ferrari.

What he meant is the miniature cars. Mika had been obsessed with them since he was 3 years old. Now Mika has grown up as a 7 year old young boy. His collection had been up to 500  cars, displayed in his own space. Not to mention his uncles supported him especially Rykarl. He even bought limited edition miniature cars for him that can cost hundreds of ringgit whenever it was his birthday or achieve something at school.

Marwan: Oh Mika dapat no 1 kan kat sekolah haritu. Aku dengar siap dapat anugerah pelajar terbaik.

Noah: Baru darjah 1 tapi memang tak heranla. Anak Yasmin dengan Haziq, darah baca buku tembus tu mengalir dalam badan dia.

Marwan nearly choked the tea, laughing on Noah's statement. Rykarl kept a poker face, he didn't find it amusing as he was still remoarsing on Mika's question ringing in his ears.

Rykarl: Mika dia cakap dengan aku, dia tak nak. Aku dah agak lain macam wei sebab dia order ice cream pun favourite Mia chocolate chip, dia kan suka vanilla.

Noah: Lepastu?

Rykarl: Aku pujuk la dia. Dia nak apa sebenarnya.

Marwan: Dia nak apa?

Rykarl: Nak duduk dengan aku

"Ha?" Noah and Rykarl exclaimed.

Rykarl: Dia cakap dia penat jaga adik-adik.

Marwan and Noah's laughing hardly. They were not expecting that Mika will complain.

Noah: Itula Yasmin dengan Haziq pun buat anak tanya la dulu si Mika.

Marwan: Woi! Kau ni Noah mulut takde insuran.

Noah chuckled.

Rykarl: Tapi bukan tu yang aku nak highlight. Mika cakap something aku pun tak tau nak jawab apa. Dia cakap  I hate kakak, kakak jahat! Kakak biar Mika jaga adik-adik sorang-sorang. Mika nak juga kakak jaga Mika macam dulu. Kalau kakak ada mesti Mika tak penat macam ni. Mesti kakak tolong Mika jaga adik.

Marwan and Noah gasped.

Marwan: Habistu kau jawab apa?

Rykarl: Aku cakap tak baik macam tu. Allah kan sayang kakak sebab tu Allah ambil dia duduk dalam syurga.
Nak tau dia jawab apa?

Noah: Apa?

Rykarl: Mika jawab  'habistu Allah tu tak sayang Mika ke? Papa kata Allah sayang semua orang. Tapi kenapa Allah ambil kakak sorang je duduk kat syurga. Bawa la Mika sekali. Mika nak tengok syurga tu macam mana'.  Aku  tepuk dahi. Speechless.. mujur ada Ibtisam alihkan attention dia, main playground. Aku dah tersungkur wei kat situ. Jatuh air mata jantan aku.

Marwan and Noah released a deep sighed.

Noah: Aku rasa dia rindu sangat tu dekat Mia. Dia nak tanya dekat Mama Papa dia takut dieorang sedih. Sampai dia marah, marah takdir.

Loving and remininiscing someone is risking a losing game. The adults might have understand that this world is temporary for all living things. However, it was too much for the little Muhammad Mikayla to comprehend the rules of the universe.
