Elyna: Pahit kak..

Yasmin glared at her.

Yasmin: Habiskan!

It's very rare to see Yasmin being stern with other people besides her children. Yasmin forced Elyna to finish the jamu she brought. Even though it was just a miscarriage but she needed to be taken care of as if she delivered the baby.

Elyna sighed but followed her order instead. Yasmin checked her cup, satisfied that it was empty.  Yasmin guided Elyna to lie on her bed. She massaged her body, pressed on the essential points that Elyna whined.

Yasmin: Tahan sikit.. nak cepat sihat kan?

Elyna nodded.

After the massage, Yasmin wiped her sweat on her forehead with a warm face towel.

Yasmin: ELYNA! ELYNA! ELYNA EL-ZAHRA!

Yasmin called her name a few times while looking directly into her eyes. Yasmin's eyes were shooting sharp into Elyna's iris, awoken her true self.

Yasmin: El, please jangan buat Marwan macam ni! Buang semua rasa takut tu! Allah ada, Marwan ada, Akak ada. Semua orang kat sini sayang Elyna.

Elyna started tearing up. She clenched her fist, lowered her head, avoiding Yasmin's eyes. Yasmin lifted her head with both of her hands.

Yasmin: Tengok akak Elyna! Jangan lari! Kalau pasal your trauma tu, your daddy informed me that he's dead. You encountered someone similar that's it!

Elyna shook her head.

Elyna: Bukan tu kak.. I..killed my baby.

Elyna screamed, while punching her chest. Yasmin immediately pulled her into her arms. She carresed her head.

Yasmin: Ya Allah El.. akak tahu sakit. But El it's not your fault..

Yasmin knew exactly the pain of losing a child. Her pain was even greater as she had taken care of her late daughter for seven years.

Elyna only realised it when she noticed blood flowing down between her legs, her stomach and private felt as if it was tearing apart. The blood had flowed through the running water of the shower. Elyna was screaming, scooping the blood, crying so hard that she couldn't do anything about it. Her body weakened, finally passed out before Marwan arrived.

Yasmin patted her back. Elyna cried harder, continuously shaking her head.

Elyna: El.. yang salah. If I had known.. if I'm not trapping myself in the past this won't happen.

Yasmin: Tapi kenapa buat Marwan macam tu? You shouldn't be pushing him away?

Yasmin pulled her body away, wiping the tears under her eyes. She gave her a cup of water for her to calm down. She could have passed out, if continue crying like this.

Elyna: I nak dia tinggalkan I. I tak nak dia tersiksa dengan I yang mental, killing his own child.

Yasmin: Astagfirullah! El sedar tak El cakap apa ni? Marwan dia takkan pernah tinggalkan orang dia sayang. Apa yang El buat ni lagi buat dia sakit. El tak sayang Marwan?

Elyna: Sayang kak.. but.. he deserves better.

Marwan stood behind the curtains, armed cross, listening to every word her wife said, slicing his heart into pieces. He left the room and went to the hospital garden.

Marwan sat on the bench, spacing out on the image of a lilac blooming beautifully. His mind was repeating the knife that blurted out from his wife's mouth.  He deserves better.
