Rayla sat in her bed, hugging her knees as she stared at the family painting she had on the wall.
It was of her younger self with Ethari and Runaan and a spirit like form of her parents in the background.
That was way before the mission to kill king Harrow. Everything was so simple back then. She missed thos times.
Opening her hand, she stared at the coins containing her parents and Runaan. She still hasn't told Ethari about them.
She thought it would be best if he dosen't know for the time being. Everything was a mess and she wanted to wait until things calm down.
But now, she wasn't even sure if things will calm down.
<><><><><><>Callum was outside in the forest training with Ethari once more.
He was repeatedly punching and kicking a tree as Ethari watched from the sides.
Stepping back from the tree, Callum let his arms fall to his sides as he panted heavily.
"Again." Ehtari ordered. Callum punched the tree again a few more times before giving it a final kick that shook the entire tree.
Leaves fell down on his shirtless body. Ethari chuckled.
"Let's take a break." Ethari sat down on a fallen tree trunk beside them with Callum following shortly.
"Why do I need too keep hitting that tree?" Callum questioned. "Well you're powers are great but you need to improve your physical strength."
Callum nodded slowly.
"Now I believe you had enough rest. Continue." He gestured to the beaten tree.
Callum slumped and he got up, mumbling something under his breath that Ehtari couldn't catch.
<><><><><><>Rayla has made her decision. She was going to leave. Her foot felt better and all the other cuts and bruises that she had had healed and disappeared.
She had everything planned. She would go to Lujanne's place, stay there for a few months, and leave when she had another self ordered mission.
It was simple really. Leave, stay, and leave. She refuses to use the word 'run away'.
Just the word itself sounds selfish and cowardly.
But even with all her planning, there was something in the back of her mind that made her hesitant to the whole thing.
It was as if her brain was telling her not to go because something will come.
She did feel like something was gonna happen. One thing that she can't just ignore.
So, with that in mind, Rayla had decided to leave once the feeling she was having disappears completely.
But something tells her that she'll have to face that problem head on if she wants to leave without any unknown guilt.
__________A/N: hello! I know this chapter was short and trashy. But it was the best I can do for now. I don't think I'll be able to update for the week since I have so many things to do. I am very busy with school, family stuff, and other personal reasons. Hope you understand. See ya!✌
