Spencer's pov:

We continue to star at each other. I look over at Blake as I can hear her breathing get heavier. She looks around at all of us as she starts backing up. "Blake." I say. "Blake! Don't." "Blake wait." Everett spoke. "I gotta go." Blake said. "Shit, Blake wait!" I say as I run after her. Then Everett, Luna, then Harlan start running after her. "Blake, B! Slow tf down!" I yell. "We gotta get back to Danny!" She said panting cuz of how fast she's running. "Can we please just talk?!" As I keep chasing her. "Hey! Wait up!" I hear Harlan say but it was faint but loud enough to hear. "What's their names again?" He pants. "Everett and Spencer." "Everett, spencer, guys hold up!" He yells at us. "Do they even know where their going?" "Do you?" Luna exclaims. "Not really." "We're going in the wrong direction!" Luna says. "How would you know that?" "Because! It's getting hotter." I keep running after Blake, along with Everett. "Blake, holy shit stop running please!" I yell once again. As I'm still running, I see Blake's speed pick up. My eyes widen, "how is that possible?!!!" I start slowing down, my legs are so tired. I want to stop but I can't. "Blake, Spencer, stop! Wait!" I turn to see Everett trip over the hill. I turn my head to see Blake run into someone's back as I come to a stop so I don't do the same. "Oh sweet jesus." I exclaim in happiness to stop running. The man helps Blake to her feet right as Harlan Luna and Everett stop after us, panting heavy. "Are you alright" the man spoke. I run to Blake to help her up to her feet as I hug her. "You needa stop running so much." I laugh. "Hold on! I know these kids." Some lady says, squeezing past the firemen. "What do you think you're doing? You told me you were doing home!" She says frustrated at the twins. She continues, "Who are these three? Are they friends of yours?" "Yeah, uh that's, Evan." "Everett." "Everett. He's Everett, them two..." Luna cuts in, "Spencer and Blake and Everett, they-they go to school with us." Their in our class." Harlan lies. "They're a grade below us." "Guys, the truth. Please!" The lady exclaims. We're all silent till I say something, "We were just trying to find our way back." "We-we all were." "What about you? How come you're not saying anything?" The lady looks at Blake. "I'm not as good of a liar as he is." She points to Harlan. I just roll my eyes with her sarcasm, I saw that one coming. "Funny. I like you." She looks at Blake before turning to Harlan and Luna. "Come one. You're all going home. Go." We all stand there, "Go. Come on." We start walking towards the cars to go home.

The car was filled with silence as Luna drove. Me squished between Blake and Everett. "You okay?" I ask them as they nod their head. Everett leans over me to put his head between the seats when the twins sat. "So you guys are..." "Seniors" Harlan cut him off, "Yeah. I kind of knew that." I put my lips in a thin line, watching this unfold. "We should talk to them." Luna told Harlan. "We don't even know them." "I know Everett." "When's the last time you hung out with him?" "I don't remember." Luna replied. "Because you don't know him!" "Except I do." "Except you don't, and they don't know us. So don't say a word, Luna." I scoff and roll my eyes at the reply from the boy. "Everett, why'd you run into the woods?" "I heard a wolf howl." "They heard it too." He points at me and Blake. I look at him, "yeah. It's true." while Blake says nothing. "So did we." She turns to us for a split second. "Luna. Stop talking." Harlan says while looking at her in frustration. "Did you get a call? A phone call?" "From who?" "I don't know, but he said he was gonna try and kill me before the next full moon." I'm still so confused on who this caller was, he didn't call me yet which is a relief. I look ahead to see Harlan turn the radio on before leaning back. Luna goes to turn it off but the car starts swerving when she does. I start to go into panic mode. "Uh, guys. Please pay attention to the road!" I spoke moving forward. They still didn't listen. I see a truck coming at us head on as we swerve into the other lane. They start bickering, "don't touch it." "Well, then stop! We're talking." "Get your hands off." "Watch out!" Me and Everett yell at once to get their attention. The car went out of control till Luna took control again and back into our lane. "Holy shit!" I say in a stress out tone because of what just happened. "One question! I just went to know one thing, ok?" Luna says, panting heavy. Harlan just looks at her. "Did something bite you? Were you bitten?" It goes silent. "We all were." I spoke in a shaking tone, bitting my skin around my fingers. "I can show you." Everett exclaims before moving his shirt to the side. Me, Harlan and Luna look to see nothing. "It healed." I whisper but Harlan heard me, looking at me. Luna knew it too, I can feel it. Harlan just scoffs before turning again.

We pull up to Everett house as the lady drops behind us to make sure we got home safe. Harlan gets out to let Everett out, before he goes to the house he looks at Blake, "Uh... remember guys. If you need it or if you want to teach it to your brother. It's called lions breath." I look at him and nod. "Thanks ev." I smile at him, he returns it before turning to walk to the house. Harlan puts the seat back harshly before getting in and closing the door. Jeez, what went up his ass?

Me and Blake arrive at the motel. I turn to thank them as they nod at me. "I'll see you around." I spoke before walking to the room we're staying in. I open the door letting Blake in first before myself, shutting the door as I sigh as I sit on the edge of the bed as Blake went to the bathroom to shower. I want a shower but I let her go first to blow off some steam.

Blake's pov:
I look in the mirror at my skin. How is it this smooth? I smile slightly as I lean towards the mirror, I wipe the fog to only see my fangs. I jump back. What.the.fuck did I just see. I walk to the mirror to see if I was just seeing shit. There ain't no way.

Spencer's pov:
I look away from my phone to see Blake walk out of the bathroom. I turn my phone off, grabbing some of my clothes to shower. I close the door behind me and sigh rubbing my eyes. Today was a long ass day and wasn't expecting it to end up the way it did. I turn the water on and get in as I take in the warm water, sighing once more.

I got out and wrap a towel around me as I wipe the mirror to see myself. I move my hair off my shoulder to see it completely healed, my eyes widen. That's crazy but it's expected, i guess. I don't understand how my twin doesn't even see this, why? I get dressed, brush my teeth. I open the door to see Blake Danny and dad sleeping. Me and Blake are sharing a bed as Danny and dad shared one. I put my backpack down where it was before and get into bed. I eventually fall into darkness after a long tiring day.
