No one's pov:

Luna, Harlan, and Prisha got to the house after dropping Everett, Spencer, and Blake off. They walk inside, "I already told you, we don't know them." Harlan spoke walking to the fridge to grab a water bottle. "The what were they doing out there with you?" Prisha asked. "Nothing." Harlan lies. She sighs, "Luna?" She looks up to Prisha then Harlan and just shook her head. "So they were just there? Hanging out in the woods in the middle of a wildfire?" She tilts her head. Harlan shrugs, "I guess so." "Ok. Come here." She walks to the table and opens up a map of the woods. "We've airlifted hikers out of those areas here and here," she points on the map, "there are crews working on this fire line right now," she points to another part of the map, "over here is where we think your dad is probably taking cover." She finished. Harlan shook his head, "why would he be that far from the hotshot crews?" "We don't know." Prisha shook her, head look at him. "But look at this. This here, this is a wall of fire. Do you understand? There's no going through it on foot." It's silent, "then what do they do, just leave him out there?" Luna questions. "No. Search and rescue is working overtime to find him. But the helicopters can only get so dark in the wind and smoke, the run out of fuel. They have to deal with complex downdrafts affecting their landings. It takes time." She exclaims. "How much time?" Harlan asked. "Garrett can survive a week in the woods in his own. We went through the same training and if I were out there myself, the first thing I would do is look for higher ground where there's plenty of rock. And nothing for the fire to burn. Right now, he's probably climbing up some peak trying to signal a heli tack unit. I guarantee he is working his ass off to survive and refusing to give up. The two of you, you're not giving up either. We're going to find him." Prisha looks at the twins as they look back at her.

After that, she left the house as Harlan locked the door, watching her to make sure she leaves, Luna sits on the couch as he does so. Harlan looks at her before going to the kitchen, "stop thinking about. They're not our problem." "If our actual father is the one that bit them, it's definitely our problem." She fires back. "We don't know what happened to them. We also don't know what happens when someone gets bit. We barely know anything about any of this shit." He walks to the fridge, "you saw their eyes-" "i don't know what I saw." "Did you see mine?" Luna stands up. "It doesn't mean anything." He walks towards her, "we all heard a wolf howl! We all ended up at the exact same place! There's a full moon coming, both of them were bitten on the highway-" "none of them have a scratch!" "Because they healed!" She exclaims. "I've never healed like that." He goes back, "so you don't believe them?" "I don't trust them!" He walks to the stairs before Luna speaks up, "we have to talk to them. They're gonna need us!" She says in a low tone. "So we don't know anything about them but you want to tell them everything about us? All the secrets that could get us killed in the known fucking universe except for Garrett?" He glared at her before turning around for the stairs again. "Yes. But I saw the way you looked at Spencer in the car. Do you guys know each other?" He turns around again, "why? and idk I saw her at the club the other night, we made out. That's it." Now Luna walks to him at the stairs, "whatever, but it's their secret now too."

Spencer's pov:
I wake up in the middle of the night to see Blake moving the dresser towards the door.
"B. What're you doing?" In a tired voice, rubbing my eyes. I get up to go where she's standing to help her. "I honestly don't know what I'm doing. I just have a weird feeling going on." She says in a questioning tone. I raise my eyebrow and continued helping her with the door. We turn around to see Danny staring at us, I look at blake before turning to walk to him. "It's ok. There's nothing to worry about." I spoke in a calming tone. "Blake's afraid." "No I'm not. I'm just being safe." I nod to agree as I know the feeling. "There's nothing out there." I finish her sentence, Danny still looking at us. "Nothing out there." He repeats shaking his head. "There's nothing outside to worry about, I promise." I spoke, petting his head. I go to sit on my side of the bed as Blake follows. Danny looks at the door once more before laying down.
