As the two headed back out to their car, Lewis stops Clara, "are you serious?"
"About what?"
"About talking to the Irish Mob!"
Clara nods, "it's the only way we're gonna get an insight into what might be going on," she brushes past Lewis and continues on to the car.
Once they both get inside, "when are we doing this?"
"I am going to talk to them later today, hopefully. We aren't doing this together."
"What about your rule about sticking together?" She asks.
Clara sighs, "this I'm gonna do alone."
"What if they try to kill you?"
She starts the car, "they won't. Killing a cop is bad for them. There will be a target on their backs, which won't be good for their business. Well, maybe not if they killed me but any other cop there would be."
Lewis turns to Clara, "is this why people don't trust you?"
Clara raises an eyebrow, "excuse me?"
"Almost the entire department doesn't trust you and they warned me to not trust you."
Instead of asking questions like any other person would, Clara takes a deep breath, "so you lied to me, now you're questioning what I say and you're lashing out. Not so good for first impressions."
Lewis faces forward and crosses her arms, "sorry, I'm just questioning your sanity right now."
"No need to, I already do that everyday."

After work, Matt and Clara meet up at Josie's for a drink.
After a few drinks, Matt wraps his arm in hers, "I know what we can do."
She smiles, "don't tell me we're playing pool?"
"Yep," he takes her drink from her and feels for the ledge, setting it down. He grabs a pool stick and applies some cue chalk before handing it to her, "you go first," he says.
Clara sighs and reluctantly hits the white ball, sending the colored balls everywhere, "we've discovered this before and I guess we're gonna discover this again, but I am not good at pool."
Matt laughs and goes to take his hit, "can I get some help?" He sheepishly asks.
"Of course!" She goes to his side, helping him angle the stick towards the white ball.
After a few rounds of pool, they're both laughing and joking as they continued playing pool. Matt feels a slight buzz going on while Clara has only had one drink the entire night; she's got work in the morning.
Clara bends down to hit again when someone grabs her. She turns around, "hey!" She shouts to the man standing behind her, "don't touch me."
He grins, "come on, baby, don't you wanna come back to my place for tonight."
She wrinkles her nose in disgust and scoffs, "no."
