Kunzite misses Pearl. Pink blames herself to a large degree. She didn’t tell Kunzite what happened to Pearl, she only said. “Let us talk about this later, okay kuzi?” Kuzi was a name she started calling her after Pearl left. They never did talk about it and Kunzite didn’t have the heart to bring it up again.
One day White came in and handed it to Pink then left. Pink started to cry and Kunzite knew what was going on. Pink got a new Pearl. Pink didn’t do anything with the gem yet just sat it on a table and didn’t touch it for days. Kunzite finally convinced her to activate the Pearl. Pink and Kunzite didn’t customize the Pearl so she was basic.
Kunzite tried to get Pearl to have fun, but she was just a wet blanket all the time. Pearl was trying too hard in Pinks eyes so she just stopped acknowledging her. To make matters worse the diamonds started to make Kunzite go on missions more frequently so she and Pink barely had time together. Pink was so upset about it. Kunzite was the only other gem that would actually treat her the way she wanted to, but now she was stuck with Pearl.
