Kunzite: A Lesser Known Story (Steven Universe Fanfiction)

Kunzite walked down the stairs of her ship as another mission was concluded. She was excited to see Pink after weeks of being away, but checking in with Yellow Diamond was her top priority. She made her way to the ballroom, spying Yellow Diamond on her throne. "You wanted to see me, My Diamond?" Kunzite asked, doing the diamond salute. "Pink has been shattered." Kunzite froze. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. "N-No, she can't be." Kunzite was shaking. This isn't happening. Pink told her that she would be safe and protected. "She was shattered by the rebel Rose Quartz."

Kunzite is the only gem of her kind. She was made by the diamonds 1,000 years after pink was created. Her purpose is to go on missions the diamonds would rarely do themselves, but her main priority was to make sure Pink would stay out of trouble. Pink adored her, and Kunzite did too. But she will never forget the day she found out that Pink, her best friend, her diamond, was shattered by the rebel Rose Quartz.
