Chapter 1

The rain was poring down a guy by the name of Riley bears was walking down the road when he heard a woosh before an unknown person knocked him over falling and rolling on the ground he quickly got up startled freaking out and was scared he calls out "Who's there?" looking all around him for the thing that knocked him over before questioning again "Who's there?" all of a sudden someone shows up in front of him grabbing him by the neck before throwing him against glass before running away.

In pain after being thrown into a wall he landed on his front grunting in pain as he try's to get up he looks around and saw people in a store running towards them as he freaks out "Help!" something cuts him off making him veer another way from the thing. Running down on the dock before reaching the end that led into the thick and rough water looking around scared for his life. Having enough he yells out "What do you want!" before the thing speeds past him and bites his hand before running away he screams out as the venom spreads through his body killing his organs the pain is unbearable, he falls to the ground as he screams loudly form the pain as he looks at the bite mark his terrified scream running through the air sending chills through the as from anyone who was listening.

After the voting its been a couple days and everything was back to normal Sam was on her way getting dressed for work Carlisle already at the hospital she left the house saying goodbye to Esme since the kids were at school hoping in her car and driving the sped limit to her clinic. Entering inside she saw all her workers already there and taking in customers.

"Welcome miss Cullen" the receptionist said "Good Morning Sadie how are you?" I asked "Not bad could be better though" she said getting back to work "Well I hope things work out with whatever is troubling you." I told her she nodded "Thanks" I headed to the back and too my office sitting in the chair and went over paperwork form the past year of being absent.

Papers upon papers there was too much to do and not enough time to do it but being the owner made it easy. Everyone left and it was quarter to 9 she was working on the monthly bills when she heard a sound of a door close her head snapped up fast as lighting getting up slowly and cautiously she walked to her door and opened it slowly walking out into the lighted hallway when the lights turned off startled a bit she kept walking and looking around she headed to the front and saw the door open she went to the door and closed it locking it she looked around and waited listening with her good hearing of anything inside not hearing anything anymore she made her way back to the office when she felt something touch her shoulder she quickly turned around her whisps wrapping around her hand as she sent a blast at the person behind her. There halfway across the room was Riley and his dark red eye's Sam's eyes lit up red as she stared at him ready for whatever.

"What are you doing here Riley?" she say's "We didn't get to finish our conversation from before but now that we are the same temperature things might work better he says pushing her up against the wall closing the space in between. She was about to use her powers when the body that was blocking her was removed from her and thrown into a wall she looked up and saw Carlisle standing in front of her growling at the kid which made the kid smirk "See you next time Sammy" he said speeding away. Carlisle turned towards me and pulled me close to his chest hugging me I hugged him back taking in his scent which calmed me.

"Are you okay my love?' Carlisle questioned pulling away his hand on my cheeks I nodded short for words he smiled softly I used my powers to fix the clinic putting everything back to the way it was he picked me up carrying princess style to my car and placing me in the passenger seat before going around and getting in the drivers seat. He looked over that me placing his hand in mine before driving home the ride was short arriving home he got out of the car opened my door and picked me up and carried me inside and to our room where we just held each other on our bed.

"What did he mean by see you again?" Carlisle questioned looking at me I looked away not wanting to tell him but he put a finger under my chin and made me look up at him. "Riley came into the clinic two years ago with his dog. I did my normal work and he offered to take me out to dinner but I declined telling him I was married and that you wouldn't like it. He said that you didn't have to find out but I told him no he just nodded and left saying he would see me later that was when he was still human I haven't seen him since that time and this was the second time" I told him he looked at me worried but upset "Why didn't you tell me?' he questioned "I didn't think it was important I thought he was just messing around but today proved he wasn't I'm sorry I told him turning away from him and snuggling the blank.

He sped over to me and took me into his arms his head going to my neck and his arm wrapping around his waist. He kissed my neck "The net time something like this happens tell me what type of husband doesn't protect his wife from other men" he said I smiled "Did you forget I was the most powerful vampire witch?' I turned to look at him he laughed "Yes, you are my love" we smiled at each other before kissing each other and just laid there all night until the morning.
