Chapter 4

If you thought the storm was over well it just escalated with Edward and Bella being back from there honey moon for 2 weeks. Edward wanted Bella to get rid of it but she made her stand on not getting rid of the baby. The discussion was a long on and put people at odds in the house it was hard for me not to be on my son side but this is life we are talking about I can't just give up. When Carlisle found out about me siding with Rose and Bella he had a look of hurt since this was the first time we disagreed with each other but I needed to give my point on this is life and as a doctor he should know. When I said that he blew a fuse "I can't worry about one who isn't born I have to care and cure the mother" he yelled I looked shocked at him that he actually yelled I know this situation is stressing us both our but yelling at me. I stood there frozen unsure of how to respond my body automatically turned and walked away not looking back. I left the house and stood out on the porch stress heading to my nose causing me to bow my head. I looked up to the night sky which had pretty white stars in it. I stood out there for for a bit before heading back in I walked to Bella and sat near her ignoring the looks from my kids and the look from my husband.

Its been 2 months and Bella looked 8 months and Bella is looking worse for ware from when we all found out and it's worrying us you could see what fat skin she had was all skin and bones it was gross she looked like death himself. Bags under her eyes it was like the baby she was carrying was sucking her life away from her. 

The pregnancy was killing her she would puke but nothing would come out, she couldn't eat anything tried feeding her intravenously but nothing was working. Nobody knew what the baby wanted. Carlisle tried researching things on the internet but that was proving to be at a loss so now he just went into books to see if there was anything there. Alice not being able to see Bella's future anymore because of the baby put her at a loss and made her frustrated and the headaches she would get were rough.

Carlisle and I haven't talked since our fight both of us not having time since we were so worried for Bella that we put all our time in to taking care of her. I could see the stress raking his face not being able to have the answers and to help Bella and being at a loss.

The tension in the house from Bella choice to the pregnancy could be cut with a single line everyone was at each others throats bashing back and fourth Edward was taking his anger out on everyone even though were trying to help it was like the family was falling apart and being a mother not being able to help her children hurt but also couldn't help my husband who I knew needed me at this moment. I saw Edward by the window and went up to him. "I'm sorry" he said I looked at him confused "Why are you sorry Edward?" I questioned him "I'm sorry for lashing out at you, I know you all are trying to help especially you but Bella said we were going to be together forever and she wans to leave me he said about to cry but it came out as a dry whimper I pulled him to me and hugged him when he felt my arms around him he feel to his knees and hugged me I hugged him back tightly dry whimpering with him. "It's okay my son everything will work out in the end we just have to be strong" I told him he nodded after a couple minutes we pulled back from each other and smiled I could feel a weight off his shoulders. 

When you thought things couldn't of gotten worse they did we heard the sound of a motorcycle coming up the driveway and could smell wet dog and knew it was Jacob Edward looked to me and I looked back before we joined the others not sure how this would turn out. I made my way to Carlisle side looking or comfort even though things are rough at the moment but it looked like he had relief I held him close to me accepting his comfort but also nervous for what's about to be unleashed.

Jacob black the son of Billy black has finally appeared Rose tried to help Bella sit up so I sped over to them and helped them. I looked at Carlisle who nodded and could just feel a sense of calm to Carlisle who nodded and went to the door "Hello Jacob" Carlisle says with a smile "How are you?" he asked. "I heard Bell made it back alive" he said Carlisle tried putting on a happy face and nodded "Yes she just got back a bit ago." he said lying easily "Can I come in and see her." he asked 

"I don't think now is the right time" Carlisle said "Can you come back later?" he asked Jacob had the look of not going anywhere which made Carlisle curse in his head.

I my head snapped to Edward and Bella whispering about not letting Jacob know because since he has a high temper being a shapeshifter we all knew what would happen. I nodded in agreement but Bella had other ideas "Why not he's my best friend" she said I just shook my head at her naivety "If you tell Jacob he'll get mad then shift and then the whole pack would know then there will be a fight to protect the baby" Edward said nods Bella nods too understanding.

"Come in Jacob" Bell say I huff before making my way to the corner wanting to be alone to think as this blows up. I knew he was going to flip by the sound of his footprints and knew he was on his way up. It put us all on edge once he made it up the stairs Rosalie and I step in front of Bella  blocking her from Jacobs sight "I'm glad your here Jake" Bella says softly I saw Jacob glare at Rosalie and just gave him a look giving him a show of my powers. Jake made his way over to Bella but Rose kept blocking his way "Close enough dog" Rose said I just shook my head great one Rose "What your problem?" he said angrily. not wanting this to escalate Bella told Rosalie it was alright

"Rose it's okay he won't hurt me" Bella said Rose looked to her before moving her out of the way and lets Jake move closer "Gonna tell me what's wrong with you?" he says "you look like shit" he said smiling "Nice to see you too Jake" she said with a smile. "So are you going to tell me what wrong with you?" he asked impatiently Bella looks at Rose and I and I nodded and went to her other side and helped lift her the blanket that was hiding her stomach fell to the floor exposing everyone to the baby inside of her. Jacob got mad before getting in Edwards face "You did this" he screamed Emmett grabbed a hold of Jacob before anything else happened

"We didn't know it was possible" Carlisle said trying to calm the situation down Carlisle the an who I feel in love with you really have a good way with words "What is it?" Jacob asks looking at Carlisle a bit more calm "We don't know, ultrasounds and needles won't penetrate the sac" Carlisle say's "I can't even see the baby either" Alice also include to tell Jacob.

"We've been looking for answers but nothing is giving us them" I said to Jacob who looked at me and nodded Jacob looks between the both of us before questioning "Why haven't you done anything?" he demanded when he demanded that I snapped "This is not your decision! dog it's Bella's and as her best friend you need to sit down and shut up" I told him getting into his face Emmett smirked and Jaspers smiles "You go mom" Em said making him sit down everyone looks to her shocked at her sudden yelling as she is always the mother one. Jacob followed her directions and shut up. "All this fighting isn't good for Bella" Esme says I nodded before Alice screams back "The fetus isn't good for Bella!" 'say the work Alice it's a baby, a little baby!" Rose yells "possibility" Carlisle says I looked to Carlisle my eye's begging him to change his decision. The house went quiet before Edwards asked to speak with him. 

Edward looked to Jacob "Can I talk to you" They both left" We were around Bella when Jacob came back in "What did he want" Bella asked "He wanted me to change your mind but I told him you never listen to me anyway he smiled which everyone else did also. So when did you and Blonde become bffs" Jacob asked "Rose knows what I want" she said smiling "What were you thinking" Jacob asked "I know this like a thing" she starts to say "But it's not" he say's cutting her off "I can feel him" she said me and Rose looked at Bella in astonishment.

Will you be alright Rose?" I asked her she nodded I got up and went to mine and Carlisle room and stood at the window needing me time. i looked to the side when I heard someone enter and saw Carlisle and turned away ignoring him he came closer and took me into his arms and kissed my neck "Baby, I am sorry" he said I ignored him but let him continue talking "I didn't mean to yell at you like I did I was just stress and nothing was helping everybody I came in contact with usually I had answers and can solve problems but this time I'm stumped" he said closing his eyes as he hugged me. I felt his pain I turned around in his arms and took his face in between my hands he looked at me as I did I just smiled and kissed him missing his lips "I am also sorry my love I didn't mean to bring up about you being a doctor and what lives to choose" i told him he smiled and nodded before shoving his face in my neck "I missed your smell" he said I smiled and smelled him too and let me tell ya he smelled good. "I missed your smell too" I told him from then it turned into an intense but passionate kiss to make up for loss time.
