Chapter 5

Carlisle took off work again with everything going on working is the last thing on our minds I was in the dining room working on some paperwork when Carlisle picked me up and placed me on his lap and kissed my neck "What are you doing my love" he asked I giggled "I'm doing some paperwork that I didn't get to finish" i told him he pouted I thought we were going to focus on work and more at the situation" he said I smiled at him before dropping the papers in my hands and kissing him my hands going to his hair and pulling it. We heard something fall against the floor our heads snapping to it and saw Emmett who dropped his controller on the floor before complaining "Mooom, why do I always walk in on you guys?" he questioned. Me and Carlisle looked at each other before laughing "Get a room" he said walking out we continued to laugh before he kissed me again.

 I was sitting on the couch Carlisle beside me his arm around my shoulders as we watched the news, "Seattle is in a state of terror, The police are baffled by the escalating murders and disappearances, theories range from a vicious new gang to a wildly active serial killer. Reporting lives from Seattle, CNN," Carlisle turns the tv off I sit closer to him feeling nervous and wanted comfort as Bella and Edward enter the room. "It's getting worse, we're going to have to step in," Carlisle spoke my nerves started to set in hearing that I looked around at our family and saw all of them was nervous well besides Emmet who looks like he's ready to take a whole army out. I laughed Edward read my thoughts and laughed. Everyone looked at us before their attention was moved to the situation at hand. "It takes more than one of our kind to cause the damage they're reporting," I looked to Jasper as he spoke "Quite a few more" he said with venom and rough his face turning stern "They're undisciplined, conspicuous" Jasper says "Newborns" Edward says "What like new vampires?" Bella questions "In the first few months after the change," Carlisle told Bella. "It's when we are at our most uncontrollable, vicious, insane full of thirst" Jasper says from experience his arms tense at that as he stares Bella down who looks away in thought.

"Something to look forward to" Emmett says I laughed when my thought came true "No one's trained these newborns but this isn't random," Jasper says I looked at Jasper before looking to Carlisle who was already looking at me. "Someone is creating an army" he acknowledges Jaspers thought process Emmett being Emmett gets up "Oh now were definitely going to Seattle," He cracks his finger and I just shook my head "Emm, there will be a time when you will get to fight" she told him placing a hand on his shoulder. "An army of vampires?" Bella say's trying to grasp the situation 'And they have been created to fight someone" Jasper says. "Were the only clan close to Seattle" Edward says his head shaking "Regardless, of why they were made we're going to have to put a stop to it soon or the volturi will," Carlisle spoke up his hands clasped leaning his arms on his knees. "I'm surprised they let it go on this long"

"What if they are behind it," Edward says Alice shakes her head "In Italy I read arrows mind. He wants me and Alice to join him, he knows we will never choose him as long as our family is Alive" Edward says "An army could solve that for him" Jasper says "We can't wait two weeks for graduation; you need to change me now" Bella say's I looked to Bella shocked "You can't what about Charlie? your mom?" I questioned her she nodded her head in understanding. "You'll be a liability as a newborn. Unable to control your instincts an easy target" Carlisle says sympathetically knowing how useless she feels but he's right. " How terrible would it be for them if you suddenly disappeared?" Carlisle said I placed a hand on his shoulder in comfort. Bella couldn't argue because they were right.

It was finally the night of the party and everyone was having fun besides the four teens I came down the stairs in a short dress and heels I looked around looking for either Alice or Rose I saw Esme dancing with Elliot. The house was filled with drunk teens and I saw Em spike the punch which would be a long night. I found Rose standing next to Em and made my way over to them. "Hey!" I said to them smile they look to me and smiled "Hey mom" they said "Enjoying yourselves?" I asked looking between the both of them. "Yeah it's great" Rose said with a scowl I laughed before grabbing her hand and leading her to the dance floor. My one favorite song came on it was Echame La Culpa. Me and Rose were in the middle when I felt arms wrap around my waist and pull me into him before spinning me out then back in, picking my body up and flipping over his arm before pulling me into his arm my back against his his front and my butt against his as our bodies moved together in harmony I thought it would be weird dancing together in a crowed of teenagers but it was kind of fun but then my eye's landed on Alice who was standing in front of the stairs frozen with the 3 wolves Jacob, Embry and Quil. Me and Carlisle looked at each other and made our way upstairs the rest following.

We were all up in Carlisle office I was next to Carlisle we were across from Alice and Jasper and besides Rose and Emmett and everyone else was scattered. The noise from the teenagers was going on outside that room that we we're in. "How long?" Edward asks "They will be here in three days"  Alice says I held Carlisle hand to comfort myself and I felt him squeeze mine to comfort me. "This could turn into a blood bath" My mate says we all look to him most of us look in worry while some just have a neutral look. "Who's behind it.?" I asked "I didn't see anyone I recognize maybe one?" Alice told us we thought about that information but it wasn't going anywhere. "I know who it is" Edward says our head snap to his.
