"Would you tell me AGAIN, why on earth are we walking?!" Judith complained for the tenth time. The man walking in front of her sighed annoyed. "A-AGAIN, for the m-million time! D-do you see a-a path?! A r-road?!" Toby shot at her. "W-we c-cant drive there."
"Oh yeah?! And who's fault is that!" She complained as she followed the man deep into the woods, heading to his cabin where they were meeting Jack with no eyes. "You just had to live in the freaking woods!— ugh!"
The man chuckled and glanced back at her, he slowed down for her to keep up, she was having a hard time walking on the forest's ground and between the trees which he found amusing.
Judith looked up at him and she could clearly see him smiling— laughing underneath his mask. "What's so funny! You enjoy this?! Of course you..you cree— AH!—" She wasn't paying attention and as a result, she tripped on a slippy rock.
Thankfully there was a big pair of arms ready to hold her and stop her fall.
"A-ah— Oof!!.." the woman looked up at the man who had his hands around her lower stomach and on her shoulder supporting her."W-watch it, or else y-you'll fall and cut y-your head open on a-something, and then imma h-have to carry you."
Judith shot him a glare.
"Okay Tarzan, and what are you planning to do with my dead body Huh?! I don't even want
to—""De-dead?" The man helped her stand and then let go. "O-oh y-you're not gonna d-die."
He hummed before he continued walking."What do you mean— hey wait!" She sighed and started walking again.
After a short while they stopped talking— well, Judith stopped complaining and walked quietly. Until Toby broke the silence.
"I l-like the woods." He said quietly.
Judith raised a brow. "Um, good for you?""N-no, you sorta asked wh-why I l-live in the woods, b-because it's nice. I-it's quiet and t-there's no p-people around." He said.
"Hmm..you're not much of a People's person, Huh." She nodded. "If I wanted quiet and away from people, then I'd rather live in one of those goat farms on top of a mountain in Switzerland or something." She mumbled.
"T-that sounds nice, t-then you c-can have o-one of t-the goats for dinner every other—"
"Hey!" She nudged him. "They'd be my friends! And friends are not for dinner. Also, goats are cute, can't just eat em." She chuckled.
Then she poked him on the shoulder."W-well, they're y-your friends, not mine- and.." he stopped and looked down at her.
"W-what are you duh-doing?" He asked narrowing his eyes."What? This—" she poked him hard on the shoulder. "Hehe, does it hurt?"
"Sh-should it?"
Judith's little silly smile dropped slowly.
"No?— yeah you probably can't feel it because of this heavy jacket you're—"The man suddenly turned and started walking again. "C-can't feel a thing." He mumbled.
"What did you say?—" she started following after him trying to keep up.
He stopped again.
She almost tripped at his sudden pause.
"Oh!— oh you gotta warn me buddy I—""I c-can't F-feel anything— pain. Can't f-feel it." He uttered.
