Beep beep beep—
*SLAM*"There you go...mhh." turning around after shutting the alarm off, Judith Cobbett lay on her back and stared at the dark ceiling of the room.
'4 years...almost done...should've been finishing by college now...' she gave herself a little slap on the cheek as a reminder to stop thinking about such stuff, she got work to get it over with. With a tired stiff body, a dry throat, and sleepy eyes she got up.
After a quick shower, Judith picked some new pieces of clothes she bought from the previous town, a gray Henley, a tank top, jeans, and sneakers. She kept it simple- which goes against what she liked to do, Judith liked dressing up, especially in skirts, but unfortunately for her, the type of work she does now doesn't support that at all, you can't really run and have much flexibility in skirts- it gets in the way, she decided.
After her hair long black has dried, she brushed it and started getting dressed.
Afterward, she grabbed some items from the stuff she bought yesterday from the gas station and made herself a sandwich. As she sat down on the bed and ate her little sandwich along with an orange juice, she started her laptop and started researching her next task, which was finally revealed to her in the middle of her sleep last night.
"Wakey wakey!~ my dearest!~"
Judith's eyes opened wide, her wand was in the right position, right under her pillow but guess she didn't need that right now since it was only....It.
"W-what..." she sighed and sat up to face...It.
Sitting down she glanced at It, as it sat on the chair that belonged to the desk which was placed in front of the bed in her motel room.
It was no lie that she got used to this...to It, these little visits of his that were not arranged used to make up jump in her place- almost shit herself but no, not anymore after all it's been years. She ran her hands through her hair and stared at It, It always greeted her with a smile, that one smile she despised the most— she despised It's whole face, to be honest, she'd despise Its name as well but the thing is she does not know It's name- it never revealed it to her, so in her mind it's just It....
the Demon. She might not know It's name but she knows Its true appearance- she saw it once and could never forget it- how could she? Something so terrifying.
She witnessed its true appearance during their first meeting- that day. Oh, that day.Ever since, It only appeared to her in the form of a man, a Middle Aged- almost in his late 40s man, to any other person he looks friendly- but no, no she knows what he- It is.
"What is it..." she asked It, waiting for it to give her more information about her next task- which hopefully- no IS her last one.
"Aww- say what is up with you? You've been impatient recently! So eager for your next tasks!?~ oh I wonder why—-"
"You know why.." she cut him off, deadpanned.
"Oh? Oh really- OH? Wait wait wait- I KNOW! Aww no now why would you remind me of such a thing— it HURTS me! You know I would miss——"
"Not my problem, we had a deal and my 4 years are almost done! This should be my last task—-" The words got caught in her throat- burning is the feeling she is experiencing in her throat- he's doing it again.
"Nah Uh- now now, don't forget I'm the one who gets to decide that~" It hissed back at her with a grin. "However, I hate to admit it- I might be many things but my deals are sealed and true unfortunately- yes, my dearest, You've reached the end of your tasks, one is what's left, and speaking of...let's get down to Business, shall we?~"
