"Thank you." Judith walked away from the front desk after requesting a room change, which she was granted. It's a good thing the motel is nearly empty, especially the second floor where her now new room is, which is 2 rooms away from her older one.
It wasn't a big change, just one she needed.
A new room right next to the Mitchell's kid and his friends' room.

As she made her way up to her new room, she hoped she'll be able to hear something through the walls, she should be able to; after all those walls are so thin she could probably throw a chair at them and it'll go through with no problem.

Walking into the dark room, she didn't bother turning the lights on and immediately rushed to the wall that was between her room and the neighboring room, The Mitchell's kid and his friends' room.
Judith kneeled down next to the dark gray wall and placed her head next to it, ears trying to catch anything.

Well, something is going on- multiple conversations in fact, but the thing is can't make up anything from what she is hearing.

"Oh what the..." she mumbled, clearly confused, she came to the conclusion that the reason she can't make anything up is not because of the wall- no, no it's the stupid teenagers that kept talking over each other.

Clearly Arguing, about what? She can't tell. But through the chaos that is happening in the other room, she managed to catch a few words.

Man.
Fries.
Woods.
Something about Failing PE.
And tapes.

Judith thought about these words carefully, and after analyzing them in her head she concluded...

Porn.

What else could a bunch of high school nerds Be doing in a sketchy motel in the middle of the day on a Thursday? Doesn't seem like drugs, so they must be watching porn or something, She thought.

"Gross, boys are so gross...yuk." Shaking her head in disgust, she let out a long sigh and pressed her back to the wall leaning back.

"Well all of that was for nothing..hm." Pouting, she found herself thinking back to her high school days, those were good days.
'Were the boys back at my school this gross?' She thought, her ex-boyfriend wasn't.

What was his name? She can't seem to remember.
His face? Too blurry in her mind.

As Judith took a stroll down memory lane, reminiscing about old days, she found herself wondering about her present self, how would it be like in a relationship now?

It dawned on her that she couldn't recall the last time she was in any form of companionship. She couldn't even tell if being in a relationship was still possible for her at this point. The thought of it all left her feeling somewhat uncertain about her chances in the love arena.

Judith wrapped up her thoughts with the conclusion that; Future problems will be dealt with in the future.

Titling her head, she tuned in to listen to what seemed to be the end of the boys' next room conversation, if you can call it a conversation.
Things seemed to calm down in there.

"Listen man...Derek, I promise it's not a prank- WHY would I joke about--"
"Okay Chris you're taking this too far, we get it Man? You made a movie good for you-"
"Goddamn it- I DID NOT MAKE THIS I TOLD YOU I--"
"Guys I'm hungry maybe we shouldn't have skipped lunch-"
"DAMN IT! Really Dylan?!- can I talk here for a second!- you know It's my fault for even telling you guys about this!" One of the of the guys, who she guessed must be Chris was going on about something.
"Alright alright- you know what? How about we go grab somethin to eat and you can tell us more about those tapes cool? Cool."
"BUT! Now's not the time to- fine alright! O-okay...But you didn't even let me play them.."
"We can return later and watch em, how about that hm? Now, come on now- let's go."

Judith managed to hear bits of the conversation that was going on between the teens, then she heard the room's door open, and she guessed they must be leaving.

She got up as fast as she can and rushed to the window to take a peek, carefully sliding the old dusty curtains to the side, she can see them better now- yes what a bunch of nerds.

Judith's eyes fell on the last boy to exit the room, an average build body, Dirty brown hair- not too short and not too long, just the right length to be styled and he had it slicked back, lastly dark brown eyes, that was Chris Mitchell.

As she dusted off her hands, Judith pulled away from the window and thought 'By the look on his face...whatever he was going on about must be troubling him...' Tongue clicking, she placed her hands on her hips and looked around thinking about what to do.

"What now Jude........hiking boots."
The Evening fell, and Judith Cobbett went shopping.

Judith needed new boots for her next task, as well as other things she'll need if she's going into the woods.

"Yes, it's beautiful, Isn't it? Our Mother Nature, I can't wait for our girls' camping trip!" Judith smiled briefly at the nosey cashier, she couldn't just mind her own business, it's a good thing Judith was not a middle-aged man with no family, that would've raised a flag looking at the things she bought.

After finishing up her work in the equipment store and grabbing a quick meal and some snacks to keep her busy the rest of the evening, Judith made her way back to the park she had previously visited.

Compared to this morning, the park, which is now surrounded by darkness, is completely quiet. No kids, no mothers, no walkers, nothing. It wasn't even that late.

Yet there she was, alone, eating her little sandwich on a bench, surrounded by darkness.

She was alone.
Being lonely was probably one of the most challenging things Judith had to go through the couple past of years, she does not like it, and she does not like that she got used to it, it's not like she had any other choice.

She was never lonely before It.

She wondered if he's lonely, she hopes he's not. Probably not, she prayed he is not.

The next, Friday morning, Judith was ready.

When she was done securing everything in her car, for when she needed to leave afterward, In front of the crooked mirror on the wall back at the motel room, she stood still and stared back at herself.

'This is....the last one.' She thought- she still can't believe it, maybe she IS too tangled in this?

Pushing this feeling of uncertainty and doubt away, Judith checked herself in the mirror one more time; her Black hair was pulled back in a low bun, topped with a cap, under a gray water-repellent jacket, and she had a black short-sleeve shirt, paired with black leggings.

Turning around to the bed, she grabbed the bright pink backpack that she used for this...job. She thought it raised no suspicion.
Since she was going to be in the woods, she tried to keep everything lighter.

Water.
Emergency food.
A map
Gloves.
Flashlight.
Lighter.
A fixed blade.
A handgun.
And of course, baby wipes.

Pressing her lips together, followed by a nod, she was good to go.
