RAFE WAS A REAL PAIN IN THE ASS SOMETIMES. Bree was walking behind Pope and Cleo, covering them on their way to the captain's quarters to get him to order the crew in one place so that they could lock them all down there. All of a sudden, a figure appeared behind them, and her eyes widened when she recognized it as her ex-boyfriend. She swore that they made eye contact, and she heard him mutter, "Bree?"

"Rafe, Rafe, Rafe," she announced to Pope and Cleo, pushing them around a corner as fast as she possibly could so that the Cameron boy would not see them. "He's already seen me. You go ahead. I'll hold him off."

"Okay, be careful," the Heyward boy told her. He did not argue because they did not have time. He could already hear the footsteps approaching them quickly.

She nodded, gesturing for them to move and run to where they needed to go before Rafe could catch them in the act. She assured him, "Don't worry. I got this." The other two wasted no time in sprinting down the path and turning around the next corner just as Bree turned around and ran straight into the Cameron boy's chest.

"What the hell are you doing here?" he questioned when he saw that it was actually her and not just someone that kind of resembled her.

Her heart was beating really fast as she scrambled to come up with an answer that was not suspicious. The more she thought about it, the more she realized how absolutely impossible that was. "Oh, you know, just out for a boat ride."

"It's a cargo ship," he pointed out, which was a good point since it was not exactly the boat you went on for a joyride, especially since the Callaway girl had no clue where the hell the boat was actually going. She just realized that. They had gotten on that boat and did not know where they were going to land and whether it was even on the same continent.

Then, she raised her eyebrows and came up with a better response than some lousy excuse that definitely was not going to work. "Then, why are you here?"

"Drop the act," he ordered, and all of a sudden, Bree's back hit the wall behind her. She inhaled deeply as Rafe's arm caged her so that she could not escape. He quizzed angrily. "Where are your friends?"
