We could hear Trisha let out loud, (completely fake sounding) wails as we left her house. Once we were safely in the car and on the road, Q turned to me with a bemused expression on his face. "Well, that was...interesting."
"That's the word you're gonna use?" I asked. "That chick seems to be a bit unhinged. I'm borderline amazed I didn't see a shrine dedicated to you in the living room." He laughed. "God, what are the odds of that cat belonging to that girl?" Q shook his head. "I seem to attract that sort of fan," he said, casting a sideways glance at me. I slapped his arm gently. "Jerk." He stuck his tongue out at me. "I didn't mean you, of course."
"Uh-huh, suuure you didn't," I teased. He squeezed my thigh, and we continued the drive back to my place.
Once we pulled into the driveway, Q leaned over and gave me a kiss. "I've been having an amazing time with you, Mara, and I'd love it to continue. I'm relatively sure you feel the same. The guys and I have a couple shows in the area over the next few weeks. If you can, I'd love for you to come check them out...I can get you a pretty decent seat," he winked at me, then continued speaking. "Just let me know what you wanna do, and we'll set it up." I smiled. "You truly rock. I can't thank you enough for all you've done. And of course I'd love to see you on stage." I squeezed his arm. " I'll most definitely be in touch." He gave me one last kiss, and I exited his car and headed inside.
