George sat on the bed.. humming as he continued to read his book.. he liked his book.
"Cute.." he smiled. He wanted something like what people had in stories... he wanted to have someone of his own that actually cares about him... and likes him.
George laid fully on the bed, having a small sigh- that's the downsides of reading stories like these... you feel lonely.
He stared at the ceiling and just began to dream of a life where it was perfect... nothing bad..
Somewhere where he could be happy with the person that made him happy- if he could find them..
Resting in a nice home with each other.
George grumbled.. why can't the person he's meant to be with just show up in front of him.
"Stupid." He grumbled.. closing his eyesHe laid in silence for a few moments.
"What are you doing..?"
George quickly opened his eyes, seeing Dream lean over him.
"Oh, sorry!" He quickly sat up, turning towards the blonde.
"I didn't mean to get in your way!""You didn't." Dream shook his head, sliding his mask off.
"I was the one that came to you." He smiled softly.. shaking his head.
"You possibly can't get in my way."George couldn't help but smile.
"You are an idiot." He shook his head.
"You know that?"Dream nodded softly, sitting down next to george.
"Yeah, I know." He stretched his wings.
"I chose to be a pirate for a living."George was about to speak- but felt the ship shift.. making him confused.
"What's going on?" He looked at Dream."Stopping by an island to rest." Dream laid down on the bed, yawning faintly.
"Once in awhile we go on an island and have fun." He hummed a soft tune.
"And we decided now is a good time."George was curious now.
"At least you are going to have a lot of fun." He smiled, nodding his head."Pfft- You are coming with us." Dream looked over at George, laughing faintly.
"You are apart of the crew." He turned onto his side.
"Mostly everyone hangs out together.""I don't think it's a good idea.. I'm not good with the hole- crew thing..." George looked down at his feet.. grabbing his ankles.
"I only met three of them so far.. and I don't know.." he shook his head.
"I prefer my solitude..."Dream rested his hand on George's shoulder.
"It takes time to get along with people.." he smiled.. staring at the brunettes face.
"But- ponk is really fond of you.. he just really wants to have a better conversation with you.""He- wants to talk to me?" George blinked, a little shocked.
"I only talked to him once" he watched dream grin faintly."Mhm." Dream sat up, leaning against the window.
"Who knows- maybe he has a crush on you." He teased faintly.
"Maybe that's why he wants to talk to you.George's face burned bright red with embarrassment.. sitting up straight.
"Heh- well.. i don't think im into scales." He scratched the back of his neck-
"Ow-""Yeah? Well you could find someone on the ship that you want to be with.. so you can fulfill that little day dream you were having." Dream chuckled.. sliding his mask back on.
"You- heard that.." George grew more embarrassed.. having his back turned to dream.
"Don't worry.. everyone feels like that when they read a romance story." Dream crossed his arms, humming a soft tune.
"But I don't mind if you want to date anyone on the ship.... Yet mostly everyone on the ship are guys.." he thought for a few moments.George slowly slid off the bed in embarrassment... his family never gave him this talk.
"I don't wanna hear about thisss.." he shook his head"everyone's been bugging at me about it."
Dream rolled his eyes under his mask.
"That's all I hear about you... well that's all I hear from them is something about you."George stared forward.. feeling shameful and embarrassed- why were they talking about him...?
"Then... I'd like to stay on the ship when you and the crew go out.." he mumbled quietly.Dream soon looked over at George.. seeing the brunette on the ground.
"Are you alright..?" He made his way over. Before George could speak- the door opened.
Dream looked over, seeing Sapnap lean against the door frame.
"Hello sap.." he slid off the bed, standing up."Everyone's waiting." Sapnap nudged his head over.
"Come on." He soon walked off..
"Put your mask on."Dream looked back down at George.. seeing the brunette leaning against the bed.
"Are you sure you aren't coming..?" He softly spoke."I might later and find a place to bathe but I won't bother you or the crew..." George stared at his feet.. shaking his head.
"You can go." He hummed.Dream frowned... unsure what to do.
"Alright.. I'll leave you be." He soon walked away... sliding his mask back on.George watched as Dream left.. covering his face with embarrassment.
"Fuck.." he mumbled quietly. It was embarrassing to have that conversation,
George took a deep breath.. he needed a bath to clear his head.
"I am okay." He sat up straight.
"No need to be sad."He didn't want to date anyone on the crew.. he didn't know them- they could be bad.. like his family... he doesn't trust them at all.
George looked at the door- but Dream wasn't bad.. he was a good person.
"I can't be thinking that.." he curled into a ball.
"I'm.. I don't know... I'm a freak."He wasn't good enough for Dream... nor will he ever be... nor will he ever ask him anything.
George stood up.. maybe- he should get to meet the crew..
"I'll catch up." He perked up.
"Dream might be a bit happy that I'll be talking to them."Total word count: 983
