Dream flew a distance away- not far.. he was still in view of the ship.
"Fuck.." he slid his mask off, carefully landing on a rock sticking out of the water.
"FUCK."

He slid himself on a rock near the water.. sitting down.. he felt pain- pain he has never felt before.

"Damn it.." Dream rubbed his eyes, why was he crying so much..?
"I'm sorry..." he felt guilt... extreme guilt-
"I'm so sorry George- I should've.."

This was all his fault.. the potion... making George upset- and he never officially apologized to george.... He couldn't-

How could he not do anything?!

Dream stared up at the sky... it was peaceful.. but it made him feel even worse.
"I...." he felt it was unfair... the one person he wanted to say that he loved- was gone...

He was about to cry his eyes out but was startled when heard shuffling.

Dream glanced up.. seeing a bird on the rock.
"Fucking Christ." He swiped his hand, making the bird fly away.
"Stupid FUCKING BIRD!"

Fucking birds.. can't they tell he's having a moment?! Fucking hell.

Dream tried laying down in peace.. but was startled when he knocked a few rocks over.
"Shit-" he slid near the water.. it was hard to stay put due to the rain.

He briefly slid into the water.. not caring for his clothes.

Dream adjusted his clothes, staring straight at the sky.
"Wow.." he lifted his wing up.

"What are you doing..?"

Dream shot up when he heard the familiar voice- instantly looked around like he was insane.
"Karl- I swear to god if you-" he growled, baring his fangs.

He felt something grab his ankle.

"Calm down."

Dream nearly kicked his foot but soon realized who it was.
"Oh my god-" was be out of his mind-
"Ho- how?!- George?!"

George smiled happily lifted his tail out of the water.
"I swam out.... It took me a bit to take off the restraints." He rested his hands on dreams shoulders.
"it took a bit.. but I'm here!"

Dream started in shock at George's tail- but he didn't care.
"Oh my god-" he grabbed and pulled George into his arms.. tightly hugging him.

George jumped, confused why Dream was crying.
"Are you... okay..?" He quietly whispered.

Dream held George close to his body... not baring to let go.
"GOD- I thought you died!!" he rested his face in the brunettes neck.
"Im so sorry I left- I thought- you'd be safe... I'm sorry- I'm so sorry.. I tried! I really di-"

"Dream, it's fine." George hummed softly, shaking his head.
"I knew what he was going to do anyway, if I wanted out of the situation.. I would have gotten out, I knew I'd be fine." He tilted his head to the sighed.
"I had to fake my death I guess you could say.."

Dream let out a small chuckle.. cupping the brunettes cheeks.
"You amaze me.." he softly hummed.. his smile growing before he spoke firmly.
"But don't do that again."

"Yeah well, that potion worked well after all." George's tail swayed side to side, not minding the situation anymore with the potion.
"I'm fine now, you don't have to worry."

"George.." Dream held George's head up, his smile growing even more.

"Yes?" George tilted his head to the side, his smile growing happily.
"What is it." He hummed.. extremely confused.

Dream pulled the brunette into a passionate kiss, not letting him go.

George jumped in shock but eventually smiled before he pushed back into the kiss.
"Mm.." he was happy.

Dream wrapped his arms around George tightly, pulling him close to him.
"I'm so glad you are okay." He briefly pulled away from the kiss.
"I was worried."

George felt relieved.
"So you don't care the fact I'm- or well.. have a tail now?" He tilted his head.

"No?!" Dream couldn't help but laugh.. shaking his head.
"Ive told you countless times! I love you George." His smile grew happily.
"I don't care."

"I think I'm some- mermaid now." George looked down at his tail.

"No, you are a siren." Dream shook his head, looking down at George's tail.
"Mermaids have softer fins, whilst sirens have spines." He chuckled.
"Easier to tell the difference but still dangerous."

"Ohhh.." George tilted his head to the side.

Dream wrapped his wings around George, flicking his tail faintly.
"But I heard they are very loveable creatures." He hummed.

"Then let's test that out." George hugged Dream happily..
"I want to be with you." He whispered quietly.

Dream carefully pulled George out of the water.
"Even if you become human again, I still want to be with you." He used his wings as cover from the rain.
"So please don't leave.."

George rolled his eyes, cupping the pirates cheeks.
"Stop being so sappy." He hummed.
"I'm cold and I want back on the ship."

Dream stood up, continuing to hug George.
"So.. when did you learn this..?" He looked at George's tail.

"When I went to save your ass in the water." George rested his head on dreams chest.. happily humming.
"I had a tail."

Dreams eyes widened.
"I remember! You spoke under water!." His smile grew happily.
"I assumed you did."

George nodded his head..
"Now, take me back- I'm really cold." He mumbled.
"Take the window.. I don't wanna be surrounded."

"As you wish." Dream flicked his wings... sure they hurt but all that mattered was that George was safe.
