90's baby!

"Go!" She yelled "get out of here." I had Copper barking at my heels. "On the count of three! 1...2...3.... Then I jumped and next thing I knew I was laying on the ground in a parking lot in LA. For the most part it looked the same. I noticed that the cars surrounding me looked like older models compared to my day in age cars, which they were. After taking in my new scenery I realized a couple, who were probably in their late forties staring at me. I could only imagine what's the were thinking at that moment. My best guess was that it was something along the lines of Why is there a random girl standing in the parking lot with six bags and a dog? On top of all that she looks like she just won the lottery. I didn't mind though. I was where I truly belonged. It was the nineties baby!

It worked, I was here in the 90's! Wow this is weird. I don't know how to feel. Izzy had done it. She had invented a ground breaking science machine. She some how created an amazing, impossible, unrealistic invention. How she did this will forever be a mystery and I plan to keep it that way. Never in my life time or in anyone's for that matter did I ever think would get to see let alone use a time machine.

A car started to pull out in front of me so I quickly grabbed my bags and moved out of the way. That would have been a great way to start this. Get hit by a car. Way to go Isabelle. This sudden start told me I shouldn't waste any more time and that I needed to get my priorities straight. I

I decided I needed a house and food to survive so I better go get that. It gelt as though I was moving to a country that was technologically behind my old life. I headed to the first cheap hotel I  found. I glanced at the desk calendar sitting there and the date on it said October 12th 1995! I was still shocked that I was actually here in the 90's. An employee came out from a back room and smiled at me. I booked a room for a few nights until I could find a place of my own. I was given room 223 so I headed to the stairs to the second floor. I pranced down the hallway with Copper, my bags, and a whole lot of excitement. Izzy was amazing! I could never thank her enough. I stuck the key on the door and headed in. First thing I noticed was that the TV's size was small. I didn't care though. I didn't have time to watch tv. Soon I would realize that this statement was untrue and I would result to using this tv.

I unpacked my bags and watched Copper sniff the room full of excitement. I grabbed my backpack and pulling out a wallet. I put my money in a safe then grabbed my ID Izzy had made me. She  had somehow some way taken care of setting up a whole character background for me. Like where I had been born here. How she did this? Don't ask me, I won't even begin to try to understand, but if this girl created a time machine this had to have been a piece of cake.

The room was dark with olive green shades, a navy bed cover, a nice carved wooden desk with a matching chair, and as I had requested, a dog bed for Copper. It looked cheap and used though. Still I could care less. I opened the blinds and let the hazy California light pour through the window. It filled the room and bounced of the glass chandelier.

Days went on and I got well adjusted to the year I was living in. I had purchased a small apartment for me and Copper. It was not too big , just one room and a bathroom. The walls were a tan color, the floors were a scratched hard wood. It was nothing to exciting. It was surprisingly nice, not great but livable, for a cheap apartment in LA. Today I signed up for Titanic auditions. I logged into the computer at the library that was down the street from my apartment and searched up the audition sheets. I printed it out, read the questions brainstorming my answers then started filling it out.
