I sat on the edge of the pool table as the man made his way across the room to me. I finally realized who it was. The neon lights bouncing off that gorgeous blond hair and a that smile nearly made me faint. He came up right next to me before he said a word.

"What is a girl like you doing in a bar?" I looked up in disbelief at my third grade celebrity crush. "I'm Mark Pa-"

"Paul Gosselar." I finished for him. It was Zack from Saved by the Bell. I have had a crush on him since the third grade. I remembered watching that show about five times in just a few months. I knew every line in every episode. Seeing all these memories I just sat there staring at him.

"Well it seems you know me, but I don't know you. What is your name, sugar?" I took a breath before I replied to him. He is no Leonardo but he is sure as darn hot!

"I'm Isabelle, Isabelle Sage." I but my hand out to shake his. They were dry and worn but seemed as if they had been telling a story. I held on to his hand a moment longer than I should have but it wasn't just me who refused to let go.

"Well Miss Sage, may I buy a beautiful girl like you a drink. How about a beer?" When he said this something felt odd, almost as if I was being watched. I could feel a pair of eyes staring into my back and I knew they weren't Lind's because she had found another guy to flirt with.

Putting all my crazy thoughts aside I replied to Mark, "That would be lovely." I laughed quite drunkenly. "You're very handsome." I told him grabbing his cheek so he would face me. We just stared at each other for a moment. He started to lean towards me. I could smell the bourbon on his breath. Just as he was about to kiss me someone bumped into him knocking him to the ground. I fell down onto the pool table. Confused by the event. Mark, who was probably already super drunk was unconscious on the floor. I had known something felt fishy. I took a final sip of my drink before picked my self up realizing this was my cue to leave. But for good measures I wrote my phone number on a napkin and handed it to unconscious Mark. Just in case, you know. Without another word Linda and I were in the next yellow cab headed back to our red brick apartment building.

I slept long and hard that night and into the next day. I had a dreamless, peaceful sleep. The alcohol really knocked me out. It is probably good we left when we did. The whole night was slightly blurry. All I remember was Pool, Martinis, Mark Paul Gosselar, and some guy knocking him away from almost kissing me. Whether it was on accident or on purpose I was probably lucky that it had happened. I layer in bed for a while before dragging myself into the brutal world. The only motivation I had was my Titanic auditions. Luckily I didn't have to work that Tuesday.

The rest of the day was pretty boring, I just sat in bed rehearsing lines I had already memorized.

"Draw me like one of your French girls, Jack."

"What? You don't think a first class girl can drink?"

"To the stars."

"I'll never let go."

I sat there the rest of the day in my fluffy purple pajamas reading each line over and over again. Most I knew by heart as a product of watching Titanic one too many times. I was more than prepared and qualified for tomorrow. I hope all my work pays off.

When auditions arrived I was over joyed. I sat up in my bed, Copper laying at my feet. He looked at me with his chocolate brown eyes and at the same moment began to wag his tail. In his Golden Retriever nature, he grabbed a sock laying on the end of my bed and brought it to me. I carefully took it out of his mouth and placed it on my nightstand. When he finally laid down, I pet his head and behind his ears. He liked this a lot so he stuck out his tongue in enjoyment. I sat there with him for a moment. I really loved this boy.

I picked myself up and walked over to my bathroom. After a nice long, hot shower and I got myself dressed in a nice pair of jeans, a white tank top, and a blue and white plaid shirt, which I tied the ends at my waist.  I looked in the mirror to give myself the nod of approval before I realized I needed to do my hair. Rushing to the bathroom, I grabbed my hair brush and pulled my long golden brown hair in to a high ponytail, holding it in place with a silver scrunchie. I then finished up by brushing my teeth and applying a light coat of makeup. I sat in front of the mirror for at least five minutes trying to decide if I was ready and presentable or not.

When I was finally satisfied with my appearance I grabbed Copper and dragged him over to Linda's where he would be spending the day as a spoiled little dog. I moved my purse to the other arm and knocked once, twice, three times on her door. The moment she answered Copp rushed into her room causing me to nearly topple over.

"Good luck today! Opps! I meant break a leg!" Chuckled Linda. "I'm so excited to be spending the day with this handsome boy." She bent down and gave him a scratch behind his ear. In reply he stuck his long pink tongue out and smiled (as much as a dog can). "You know, today you het to see Leo! Say hi for me. Wait not hi, more like hello! Or 'ello mate. Or buenos Dias. Well, just tell him hi! From me!"

I laughed due to her over the top enthusiasm. "Wow Lin! You are more excited than me and I have been waiting for this for longer than you can imagine. But I will tell him hello from YOU."  Her green eyes lit up as she smiled. "Thank you again for watching Copper. He really loves staying with you. Look how happy he is." I said as I pointed to him rolling on he fuzzy pink carpet. "You really saved the day here!"

"Yeah, yeah, no problem! Just have fun today I know you'll do great! Just have fun. And.... BRING LEO HOME WITH YOU!"  Her voice echoed through the empty brown hallway since she practically screamed the last part. I just shook my head at her.

"I'll try my best but he is a busy man. And I have my own auditions to worry about." I told her. Out of nerves I glanced down at my watch and noticed the time it was 12:30 and the audition were being held a half an hour from here then factor in traffic 45minutes! And on top of all that I needed to get there early to practice and get checked in.

"I've really got to go though! I'll see you! Thanks again." I said rushing down the hall to the elevator. Maybe it was just me but the old elevator seemed to be moving slower than normal. Uhh hurry up! The one day I have something important and you start to act as you look! The elevator was never in great condition but it worked fine. No one in the building wanted to pay to have it replaced or even tuned up. But of course today was the one day it stopped working "well" and was actually bad. When it FINALLY reached ground level I rushed through the small lobby and I snuck a peak to my left. The stairs! Why did I not think to take the stairs? Stupid me! The lobby/ hallway smelled of fresh paint to match the wet brown color on the walls. I wondered why money went to new paint instead of an elevator but didn't think long before I was out the door on the side of the busy LA streets, attempting to flag down a yellow checkered cab.

I hopped in and gave the driver the address. He looked at me questioningly. "Auditions for a movie?" I nodded. "Good luck." I was going to need it. When the driver said this. Someone who was just a random face off the street, they new where I was going and what that building was for, auditions. Just then did I really start to process everything. I was doing this. I was auditioning for Titanic and I had to bring my A-game.

A/N

I had a hard time writing this chapter for some reason. I don't know why. But I hope you enjoyed this slightly boring chapter.
