Ever since that walk a few days ago Linda and I have really bonded. We got to know each other's hobbies, routines, favorite movies, etc. She became my best friend at that point in time. We would walk every Saturday with Copper. We grew to really know each other.

While waiting for my response on the Titanic I sent the cafe that Linda works at an application for a job. I had three reasons behind doing this.

A) After Linda told me that celebrities stoped in quite often I would hang out there 24/7. Finally the manager told me if I wasn't going to buy anything I had to leave.

B) If for any reason I would not end up meeting Leo maybe he would stop in there and talk to me while I take his order.

C) I wanted to have some extra cash flow while I wait for a response on the Titanic application. I did have rent, bills, and every day needs to pay for.

I was sitting in my usual corner seat near the door in the cafe when the manager walked out and came up to me.

"You are Isabelle, correct?" He was a thin man with greasy black hair, a crooked nose, and a thin greedy smile. He kind of freaked me out. When I first met him I thought he was some sort of dark wizard. He did not seem like the kind of man to own a cafe. This is LA after all, no one is what they seem.

"Yes sir that is me." I stood up and put my hand out so I could shake it. He pulled a pen out of bus blue striped button up shirt and used it to push my hand away. I looked down very confused as to what had just happened. This guy was a weirdo.

He cleared his throat then spoke. "I have decided to accept your application. Don't, and I mean DON'T make me change my mind." I smiled kindly. He handed me the official papers I signed the line. I had never liked my signature, I always thought it looked messy. Never the less I signed and I was now officially hired.

"Can you start your shift right now?" He asked. Afraid to answer I just nodded my head. "Linda will train you." He then threw me an apron and shoved me behind the counter.

"So you got it , then?" Linda asked me. Raising her eyebrows.

"Yeah. But he is a creep." I chuckled.

"I know right! But let's save the gossip about him till he is not in the same building as us." I laughed and agreed. Linda brought me over to the cash register. "Watch and learn from the professional." She said and flipped her shiny brown hair.

A tall skinny woman with blonde hair wearing bell bottoms and a white blouse walked in. She had a sort of strut. I already didn't like her, but somehow I recognized her. She walked over to a small table near the window and frowned. She pretended to wipe off crumbs even though Linda cleaned the table one minute before. She finally sat down tapping her nails on the table. Linda grabbed her pen then started over to the women. I followed her.

"What may I get for you?" Linda asked the woman. I could tell she was faking a smile. No one else would have realized it was fake though.

"An iced coffee. But not to much ice. And don't burn it. Also don't make it too watery." The lady rambled on with all of her odd requests. I saw Linda pretend to write down. I read her paper. Iced coffee, burned, extra ice, add water. I chucked. The bossy woman glared at me.

"Did you get that or do i need to repeat it because your friend was laughing?" She asked Linda.

"I got it ma'am." Linda told her. "Iced coffee, light ice, not burned, watch water amounts."The woman half smile.  So the paper was a joke. Still funny though.

"Go now." The women told up.

Linda taught me to use the coffee machines, where the food was, how to heat it up, and all other cafe duties. I served plenty other "white blouse" people. Some people weren't that bad though. This was going great. I made plenty of tip money and got free blueberry muffins! Two for one deal.
