Fortunately the gig runs smoothly, we receive new compliments and invitations to different events and even some people come to talk to me privately.

Piano will always be my forte, the only thing I'm good at naturally. But my journey probably won't go much farther.

Without a manager it's complicated, I'm not used to working on my own, especially doing this type of events. I'm officially going to stop the gigs Drew gives me so either I fully stop or I find someone better to help me follow my dream.

Wishing goodnight to my colleagues I head upstairs to my hotel room. My "date" will be waiting for me in the hotel bar.

There is nothing better than enjoying a drink by yourself, I have always heard the saying better alone than in bad company

The truth is, I just wanted to mess with Harry and make him think I'm getting some action when in fact I've been alone and dry since my last time with him.

Good thing out of it is that I'm in the mood for a nice gin.

I deserve it right?

I take a long shower to relax my muscles, put on a long denim skirt with a basic white tank top and a beige fur coat. With my purse in hand and gum in my mouth I leave the room ready to have a drink.

My walk is heard down the hall as my heels click intensely on the checkered floor of the place.

Everyone knows someone is approaching the bar.

So when I walk in I'm not surprised by the amount of eyes on me. Men by the pool tables smirk at me, women scream at their husbands for staring and even the cleaning lady stops mopping the floor to smile at me.

Embarrassed, I try to walk without dragging any more attention and go to the bar area. I sit on a stool and shortly after the bartender comes my way.

"Hello doll, what's it going to be tonight?" - the man, around my age maybe a few years older, asks with a friendly smile instead of the malicious one I'm used to

He is tall, possibly six foot six no bullshit. His hair is buzzed and his eyebrow is pierced with a silver jewel. When he smiles at me I also see a smiley hanging there giving him a bigger charm.

"Good evening, a gin and tonic please"

"Coming right up" - he takes a glass with ice and then pours the gin in a playful way that leaves me quite impressed

"I saw you play" - he breaks my fascination - "congratulations, you have to be a pro at what you do to sound that effortless"

Shaking my head - "I try my best—hm Simon" - I reply, reading the name tag on his shirt

"Your best sounds perfect Miss..."- he waits for my last name

"Josie is fine, nice to meet you" - I hold out my hand and he takes it willingly

"How kind, now I have to prepare your drink with extra love" - he winks at me and I giggle

"How thoughtful of you"

"Anything for my prettiest clients" - as he speaks I feel someone sit down on the stool next to me and suddenly that deep, piercing voice enters my ears

"You can put it on my tab mate" - he tells the bartender

"Oh hm sure thing" - he finishes making the drink and puts it in front of me, not long after he leaves to go tend other people
