Damian POV:
Thank god I have the day off. Shit has been crazy for the past month, and I have taken this day to think about it.
I headed to the park as I thought about what I need to do about this situation. As I found an empty bench, I sat down and pulled out my phone. I scrolled to the texts that my dearest brother left for me.
After feeling like my eyes were burning through my phone after staring at the texts, I figured that I should let our mom know.
Because she deserves to know that her eldest son is acting like a damn child instead of an adult, that is taunting her youngest son.
I know she's going to be heartbroken and hurt, especially when he hasn't talked to both of us for the longest time.
She is going to blame herself for his behavior, just like when she blamed herself when our father left us.
I don't want to do that to her, but I can't just not tell her about her child.
A sigh left me as I started to have conflicted feelings about it. Before I thought about not telling her, I forced myself to shoot her a text saying, 'I need to talk to you about something'.
Probably around this time, she is probably in the garden, so she is probably going to respond sometime later today when she gets the chance.
I shoved my phone into my pocket as I let my head fall back, letting the sunlight heat up my face as I closed my eyes for a minute.
By the short time that I had my eyes closed, the shadow above me had shifted, creating shade for me. I looked beyond the park as I observed everyone, until I spotted Evan.
Evan looked like he was in a deep conversation with the woman he was sitting with, I don't know why but she seems so familiar, like I had seen her before so many times.
Neither one of them seems to notice me, so I forced myself to sit at the way end of the bench so that I can listen to what they're saying.
I'm not sure why I would want to listen to their conversation but I have a bad feeling that I won't like it, brushing off the feeling, I listen anyway.
What Evan say next is muffled but I can understand most of it, "Autumn, I know...not what you want to hear right now...guys are in a relationship, but I lived with him for years...looking out for what's best for him"
My eyes widened as I heard the name of the person he was talking to–
Autumn.
There's no way that's her. I take a double look at the back of her head and the description match, same brown hair with the same length.
Why is she with him? and how does she know him? Does she know him? And why is she talking to him?
I stopped questioning everything and decided to take action, I quickly got up and walked straight towards them, and as I got closer Autumn's head was down whilst Evan looked at her.
He must have noticed that someone was approaching them because he looked up and locked eyes with me.
Then Autumn turned towards Evan and once she figured out that he was looking at something else, she turned around and shock went through her as she finally noticed me.
"What in the hell" I whisper, disbelief and betrayal running through my body.
Autumn POV:
As I still look At Damian, I'm still in shock that he is standing here right in front of me and Evan.
