A/N: Thank you @Kiran1209 for giving me this idea. Here's a HulRat OS

There were times Rah absolutely loved his big brother's aggression and times he absolutely loathed it. Today was one of those times he absolutely loathed that aggression. He knew Gauti sir fucked up when he cursed and shushed the Chinnaswamy crowd, he himself was angry at what had transpired in Bangalore, Avesh throwing his helmet on the ground acting like he was the one who made the winning runs when infact they won because of a leg bye and Harshal's failed attempt at a mankade, honestly they should have known, Virat or Maxi one of them would have exacted revenge, both equally expressive, equally aggressive batsman on the field and Faf the ice to their fires. So really, they shouldn't have been surprised when Virat shushed the cheering crowd (who cheered even louder when he did that) and what the hell was up with the crowd? All they could hear was "KOHLI! KOHLI!" or "RCB! RCB!" even the Lucknow fans cheered when their hometeam's wickets fell. He understood how Rohit probably felt when all of Wankhede started chanting, "ABD! ABD!" and Virat looking all proud and emotional younger brother like at AB, really hadn't helped matters at the time. (Mahi bhai and Rohit didn't talk to Virat for a day but the idiot didn't know that till after breakfast the next day cause he had ended up spending the whole day with AB and Dale after the match.)

He was running from one end to the other trying to calm down his coach, team mates and his big brother who was fuming. In hindsight Virat really shouldn't have showed his shoe spikes to Naveen whatever be the context because Gauti sir just charged towards Virat without even knowing the full situation, that was plenty clear from the way Virat kept telling him to calm down and to stay out of it because it was a fight between him and Naveen and just them. He had caught sight of Faf laughing at Virat who was breathing fire and animatedly explaining everything to him and he also saw Naveen arguing with Virat during the handshake and Maxi pushing Naveen away, the hug between Stoinis and Virat was further proof, who Virat is on the field is not who he is off the field. He sunk down onto the couch in the dressing room and with difficulty removed his thigh pads, his ears perked up when he heard Avesh saying,

"He's not that bad Naveen. You shouldn't have provoked him like that."

"Oh please Avesh didn't you hear him shrieking and cursing every time a wicket fell?"

Stoinis stepped into the conversation,

"Dude. You don't know him as well as some of us do, some of us know him off the field as well, hell he's one of my closest friends and I played under him for like a year. He'll say whatever in the heat of the moment on field but off field he's the most caring person. Rahul knows this as well."

Rah nodded and with a grimace removed his other thigh pad as well,

"I don't know what happened out there Naveen, but this isn't the first time you're getting into a fight with a senior player. Virat's a nice person if you're nice to him. Marc knows this better than anyone."

"You don't defend him at all Rahul, he showed me his shoe and pointed at the dust and then to me."

Now, Rah got annoyed,

"Did you or did you not tell the umpire Vi was walking on the pitch? The umpire was smiling as well which meant he was not even cursing you out, you got triggered over something and you went after him. That's on you, I won't defend him for what happened after, he should have let matters be or not have spared you another glance but he chose to argue back. Now leave it and move on. I'm sure Virat forgot all about it and is in their dressing room apologizing to Faf and his coaches for his behavior."

Avesh who had kept quiet said,

"Kyle shouldn't have provoked him too. Gauti sir dragging Kyle away made matters worse."
