"Bhai pls na let me bowl today pls Mahi bhai."
"No Mahi bhai, ye Stuart Broad banjayega."
"Sssshhhh RO! They're right here they can hear you!"
"Let them it needs to be a warning for them."
"Bhai, aap is panda ki baath mat sun, mujhe bowling karni hei bhai. One over. If I concede too many runs then I won't bowl after that."
Mahi bhai stared exasperatedly at the two baby ducks following him for the past half an hour each pestering him for something or the other, with a sigh he shook his head and said,
"Fine. One over Cheeku. Ro, you won't bully him if he goes for runs okay?"
"Fiinee" Ro dragged the word out.
They saw the England team practicing on the other side of the Manchester ground, Mahi bhai looked at the time and he turned around to tell the boys they had to head into the dressing room soon, but before he could get a word out the youngest of the three went running to the other side screaming "KP!". Ro and Mahi bhai watched with a sour expression as KP ruffled the kid's head lovingly, even Morgan gave the kid a quick hug and walked away.
"Jab dekho, ye kisi na kisise jaake chipak jaatha hei. Do something bhai!"
"What am I supposed to do!"
"Stop him! Don't let him become friends with them, tell him they're bad influence, anything!"
"Ro." MS, amused, huffed and fondly rolled his eyes at the younger boy.
"Okay fine."
Their little scheming was cut short as a beaming Virat dragged KP to them with a broad grin chattering on about something as the latter indulged him with a fond grin,
"Oh and KP, Mahi bhai told he'll let me bowl, so I will get you out. Just watch."
"Of course you will Cheeku."
Ro stifled a snort at the enraged look on Mahi bhai's face when he heard that Brit call Vi Cheeku.
"Virat, we need to head back to the dressing room, have to get ready for the toss. Pietersen."
Virat left after giving a tight hug to KP and linked his arm with Ro's and bounded away energetic as ever.
"He's a ball of energy isn't he MS?"
"Only I call him Cheeku KP."
"Oh well, that's where you're mistaken aren't you MS, literally most of us back home in Bengaluru call him Cheeku."
"He's my kid."
"We can share our baby brother yeah? Listen tell him I'll talk to him after the match see you around."
Mahi bhai walked back grumbling,
"I'm not telling Cheeks anything, mera chota bhai us angrez ka nahi."
And Mahi bhai may have vindictively given the ball to Virat when KP was on strike and lo and behold Virat became the first and only bowler in the world to get a wicket off his 0th delivery, he had removed the bails so fast and the cheers he heard from his kid made him smile, Ro, Yuvi and Sonu were smothering Virat and he separated them, KP hadn't even waited for the replay he had just walked.
