Emperor Droghondreg of the once great Dwarf Empire and his army have been marching for the past few months liberating and killing traitors of the empire. Droghondreg has been growing his support, his army and resources to rebuild the once great empire of the eastern mountains that lead to the plains of the Kaiserreich and the Elven Empire. With the help of the Kaiser giving technology, weapons, automation and more. The Dwarf worker shortage has been solved by cloning selective soldiers and workers, but also setup droid factories in some of the major settlements in the region, but none of them could out pace the once great lonely mountain at the edge of the west that separated the green lands and the badlands full of desert and scorching heat.
The Kaiser asked what in the badlands with the dwarf Emperor a few weeks ago. Droghondreg reply stating that it mostly desert, ruins of empire old, bandits, savage orc tribes and more. Droghondreg did also tell the Kaiser beyond the desert itself there was a rainforest to the southeast where it hot, moist and full of life, but home to reptiles racing, the main race that dominate it is the lizard men. The Kaiser was more interested in the desert because of the possibility of oil and natural gas there being very rich due to the geography and similarities on Earth. The Kaiser sent engineer clones and droids to setup a pipeline system that would stretch from the Dwarf empire to the Kaiserreich capital and then final to the Elven Empire to be refined and fuel their factories and war machines and more. The Kaiser sent another regiment of forces to speed up the liberation of Droghondreg people under the oppression of the warlords and to setup shop in the desert.
Droghondreg: "Finally we have almost reach our former capital and soon we shall rise once more and take back our rightful place in the world."
Royal Guard: "Yes my emperor. We shall soon have the industrial might of our empire and the Kaiserreich combine as one and out produce anyone."
Droghondreg: "Indeed, but before we start walking into the capital. We are to wait for reinforcement from Reich. The Kaiser has dispatched a young general to us for tactical knowledge and restructuring of our military, plus a few more engineers."
Royal Guard: "That good we are getting more support soon, but hopefully we just have to clean out a few remaining undead...."
Droghondreg: "what wrong my friend?"
Royal Guard: "My emperor look at those marking on the wall of the outer wall of our capital." Give the emperor the spy glass.
Droghondreg: "oh no. It can't be, but it is. Those dam Rat men have come. I heard they were all killed off a long time ago with their cursed Horn Rat god."
Royal Guard: "They must have been in hiding waiting for their moments to rise up and take back what was stolen from them or their rightful place in history, but my emperor I saw a second symbols. It a hammer and sickle."
Droghondreg: "hammer and sickle you say. Well then it the Kaiser old enemy that has team up with the rat men. We have to wait for reinforcement then that will arrive soon. In the meantime setup up a forward base here and more. We are in for a long siege."
Royal Guard: "At once my emperor" the Royal guard captain went to the officer and told them to start setting up trenches, small frontline factories, mines and more. Right now the emperor had received a report that orcs and goblins were armed with guns like the Kaiser, but from the Soviet Union. He would need the tanks, artillery, and more gas to break this mighty fortress. A cruel irony where you used to be the defender of this once mighty bastion, but now you are the attacker. Luckily the emperor knew their were and hope some of the secret passageway are still working and could send in strike teams into the underbelly of the capital to do as much damage to the Rat men.
12 hour later. Outskirts of the capital.
Reinforcement have arrived in 2 zeppelins carrying tanks, 155 mm artillery cannons, and gallons of gas and 100,000 soldiers and droids ready for war. The young General leading this force was Felix or clone-201213. He was genetically modified with the DNA of the dragon killed in the hunt a while ago. His skin was red with harden skin and has wing, but also a immune to fire and most weapon including small arms. He fly most of the way here with 4 other clones that had the same genetic as him, but they were also officers acting as his personal honor guards. All of them dressed in trench coats with red sleeves on their right arm and on their helmets a emblem showing a dragon head with a m24 grenade and a bayonet crossing under it and a iron cross. His regiment was called the Red Dragon legionnaires. The rest of the regiment has the same symbol on their helmets but on their collars have dragon teeth representing their rank in this regiment unlike the normal Heer. This regiment was all genetically modify with dragon DNA, but about 80% of did not have wing. The reason for this because they must earn that right to fly and has to go through more genetic modification, but all of the soldiers were fanatical loyal to their general and the Kaiser and would achieve victory at any cost. They also have a Ravenous hungry that can be satisfied, but they will eat anything. This is a draw back that could not be corrected with the dragon genes, but it made sense due to dragons having a large appetite.
