I hope what he said is not true but I fear it is.

As the doors opened, I braced myself for the worst.

"Hyun-soo what is going on with you.", Yi-kyung said as everyone was pointing their guns at us.

"They're fine.", Seul-ki said as he rummaged through the crowd heading towards her.

"Give her to me, she got scratched by monster blood she won't heal from this quickly."

"Why?"

"She's got my blood in her."

"And what is so special about your blood?"

"I'm sorry, I should've introduced myself to Mr. Jung Woo-myung."

"H-how-"

"Ahnyeong, I am the son of the god of war, Yun Seul-ki nice to meet you."

"You're a god? That must be the most ridiculous excuse I've ever heard", he said as Seul-ki's eyes lit up a bright gold proving him wrong.

"How does she have your blood?", I asked.

"To be honest, I have no clue. My father just told me to take care of her.", he says as he scoops her out of my arms and heading towards the infirmary.

"Don't move.", Sang-wook says as he points his gun towards Woo-myung.

"You know those things don't kill me."

"Don't worry about it. I'll find a way to kill you either way."

"Hyun-soo, you okay?", Eun-yoo asked me but I ignored her as I was still focused on her.

"Come here quickly. Come here.", Mr. Ahn signals to Hyun-soo.

Keeping my word, I stepped in front of Woo-myung before saying, "Put that away. He saved my life", to Sang-wook.

"Think about what they did.", Seung-wan defended.

"Hyun-soo, he killed his own men. Do you trust him", Byeong-il added.

"Do you trust me? He's just like Kyung-min and I. So put your weapons down.", I say before I hear a wince from Kyung-min.

I walked my way through the crowd, towards her.

"Is she okay?"

"I'll be fine.", she groaned as she got up.

~TIME SKIP~

"I just want to talk.", Eun-hyeok pleaded.

"I don't want to. Nothing you ever said was good for me."

"Yah. Cha Hyun-soo,"

"I'm not your dog. Go find someone else to pick up your shit.", I say feeling my eyes shift to its pure black.

I was confused, fed up.

I'm not sure how to tell her that we are leaving with Woo-myung.

I don't know how she will react.

All I know is that I'm not leaving if I'm not sure she will be safe.

The only way she is safe is with me.

KANG KYUNG-MIN'S POV:

I was walking around the base to look for Seul-ki to ask him some question, when I bump into Hyun-soo.

"Oh. hey.", I say, still kind of awkward around him.

"There is something we need to talk about."

"Uh can we talk about this tomorrow, I'm looking for someone.", I say as I see Seul-ki entering the hallway beside us.
