Yun Seul-ki's POV:

For these past months I've been following her so that I can keep an eye on her. The crawlers have been eating away at my insides, but not enough for me to die. The only time it will stop is when I complete my mission. I try to make the least amount of appearances as I know she is still mad at me but I have to take care of her. Protecting her each way but every time I knew that it will alarm her. I had to keep my distance. Every time she got hurt I got worried. Worst part, I was not the only one.

I saw that she had left the stadium so I followed her. Keeping my distance in each step she took. Then we arrived to a building. They had finally reached the distance I needed for me to deal with these bastards.

"Ahnyeong(hello)."

"Ah-yi, what are you doing here", I snickered.

"So she is the girl who abandoned Hyun-soo and Min-ho's daughter", Ah-yi replied.

"Let's see if she lives up to her name", she said before the monsters started going after her.

"Ah-yi!", I grunted.

"Why? Am I wrong? Let's test her if she is actually worthy of your blood and the opportunity to be neohuman."

"Where's he hiding? I know he's here"

"Answer me first."

"She doesn't have any of that right now since she transferred half of her monster to Hyun-soo to protect him."

"What about your blood?", she asked as we both looked at how they struggled.

"Can't you see her skin isn't searing from the touch of monsters? Her angelic blood is being shielded by her monster."

"But I thought-"

"It's more complicated than you think."

"Who's the other girl?"

"Lee Eun-yoo."

"Ahh the on-", she said before I saw Kyung-min being cornered by monsters and hearing the sound of searing.

Her angelic blood is resurfacing.

This isn't good.

I then rushed over to where she was and used my ability to summon the light and heat of the sun to burn the monsters. I look back to see Hyun-soo in the corner and I smirked.

I got here first.

"Andwae! Hyun-soo!", she shouted before her closed shut.

Hyun-soo...

"Ya! Yun Seul-ki, mwo hae (what are you doing)?", she shoved me aside as she bent down to tend to Kyung-min.

"Eun-y", I sighed.

"Hajima(don't do it).", she cut me off.

"Leave her alone.", she said as she looked at the severe burns.

"If I do, she'll die. Don't you remember?"

"Ara(I know)."

"You know how much she means to me."

"You mean your mission?"

"it's not like that."

"All you can do is save her. After that...(kkeojyeo) leave.", she stood up.

"Help me bring her outside.", she obliged as she rolled her eyes.

I had kneeled down to where she laid and cut my hand and put the drop of blood on her delicate lips.
