Inner Demons

"You're wrong. He promised me he would return so till I see him with my own two eyes, only then I won't believe anyone or anything.", I said before Ji-su took the gun and took my place.

I jumped out of the vehicle. I slowly made my way to where I once stood. Where I last saw him. All the good and bad memories came rushing towards me, which only made my heart ache more.

CHA HYUN-SOO'S POV:

"Kim Yu-jun?", Yu-jun smirked looking at the pathetic Hyun-soo.

"Ok stop playing, we still need him alive.", the guy in the lab coat had said.

"What do you want from me?", I asked trying to regain my strength.

"It's not you who he wants but you're definitely a plus.", Yu-jun smirked.

"What?"

"Are you this dumb?", I just looked at him with question marks in my eyes.

"He wants his daughter..."

"Kang. Kyung. Min.", he laughed.

"Daughter?"

The guy in the lab coat is Kyung-min's abusive father?

"Don't spoil him too much.", her father asked.

"This won't hurt a bit.", her father had bent down to where I laid and flicked his finger on the syringe with green liquid.

He then injected it on my neck and I lost consciousness.

YUN SEUL-KI'S POV:
I had slept on the floor and I had woken up because of a splitting headache.

It's settling in. I have to get this done soon or else the heavenly crawlers will take over.

I'm sorry Kyung-min.

Hyun-soo, I'm coming for you.

Next Day:

Our main problem for the day was finding the others.

Most importantly, Hyun-soo.

"Kyung-min?", I shook to wake her up.

She groaned and tossed to the other direction.

I smiled.

"Gwiyeopda(Cute)", her eyes started flickering open.

"Seul-ki?", she asked.

"What time is it?"

"It's 10 am"

"Come one let's get moving, we need to look for the others.", I stood up.

"I think I know where they are."

"You saw it?"

"They're at the safety cam-", she was cut off.

Kang Kyung-min's POV:

"Take care of them for me.", Ji-soo said before she was crushed by rubble.

I grasped for air trying to get out of that vision.
"No,no,no,no!", I repeated frantically.

"What?", he said concerned.

"Ji-soo.", I sobbed. "She dies."

"What?", he said in disbelief.

"We need to stop this! Help me Seul-ki, please.", I pleaded.

He sighed,"where are they?".

I smiled out of relief, "They're at a stadium. We need to get there before nightfall."

We set off as soon as possible. The worst part, the stadium was 8 hours away.

"Can you drive a bit faster?", I was worried.

We had finally arrived however night has fallen.

"We need to go inside."

"I'm sorry but we can't do that."

"What do you mean we can't?"

"They're testing for monsters. If you are found out you'll be tested on."

"Then I'll be with Hyun-soo."

"I need to go inside.", I ran.

"I'm sorry.", he stopped in front of me. He then picked me up from my feet and carried me back to the car.

"Seul-ki!", I cried. "NO!!!", I screamed as the missiles hit the stadium and screams filled the air. "SEUL-KI PLEASE!", I pleaded hitting his back. "Ji-soo!" "Eun-yoo!", I screamed at the top of my lungs. "Put me down!".

He had finally put me down. People started rushing out. I ran as fast as I could to Ji-soo. I pushed my way through the crowd one-by-one. "Ji-soo!, Eun-yoo!", I screamed while looking for them.

Yeong-su.

I looked to where he was staring. Ji-soo was lying there screaming for him to run.

The rubble had fallen on her.

"Ji-soo!", I screamed out of sadness. I fell to my knees and was trampled by people but tears just kept pouring down my face.

"Unnie!", I heard a familiar voice.

"Eun-yoo?", my eyes lit up.

"Eun-yoo!", I rushed towards her.

I embraced her in my arms.

"Kyung-min?", there was light in her eyes.

"Yeong-su!", I exclaimed.

However I wondered, "where's Su-yeong?". They looked at me with sadness. Yeong-su sobbed.

"Don't tell me."
